Obviously but the real chiseling is the fact they're mainly avoiding doing necessary animations for literally any of the other races Blade and Soul is probably gonna devour Tera's niche marketshare at a bizarrely quick pace lol

I think TERA's combat system will always be the big thing that will keep it alive even if other games do graphics/kMMO/T&A better than it. I tried Blade and Soul during the closed beta and even though the aesthetic was cool (gotta love that nonsensical wuxia) and the moves had a lot of oomph it still felt like standard hotbar combat, except this time the buttons changed depending on context. Maybe at high levels or in dungeons it becomes a lot more mobile but what I played was nowhere near as cool as TERA. That said the BnS cash shop costumes are a shitload better than the TERA ones. Not that that's saying much.

I am not quite shure of the pvp rules but I was driving around the lvl 15 area at the hard end. I would save someone from the monsters, do a doughnut around them, then kill them. So far 10/10.

Actually B&S's style is extremely unique and cool and I'm very glad to have another MMO that doesn't strive to be indistinguishable in art direction from all the other Korean options.

Have you ever used the 'Random' slider function when creating a Tera character? It's unimaginably more downsy and inhuman looking than your example on all races, every single click. Besides you can simply make a face that doesn't look anything like that. It's an incredibly thorough character creator, this is a really frivolous issue to have with the game

I know it's an NPC, yet your own hypothetical character isn't obligated to have a gigantic fivehead and fist-spaced doll eyes as well. It's nothing compared to the Nightmare Generator of the Tera 'Random' button, which is really really funny to click nonstop for about 15 minutes

Blade and Soul is a wuxia-style thing where everyone goes around in long flowing robes and clothes. TERA is more arms-and-armour so it loses because it's very easy to make sexy dresses but harder to make sexy platemail and TERA is extremely bad at it. In conclusion they are both terrible, but they are also both free.
