OATH COMPLETE!       THEMED GROUP If the journal and theme group count towards two things then Double the Fun DETEKTUV'S JOURNAL  I managed to finish the Angelius in a single sitting and had I known I'd be doing that I would have done speedpainting for it but alas. started on the other two beasts.  Basecoats on the beasts done, comparison of the yellow that goes beneath before the mentalic coating. I'm not 100% sure but I feel it brightens up the brass colour a bit where the yellow is beneath.  Thagrosh before the essence of life washes over him. I will admit, I could have done a lot better particularly on the two samey beasts but I'm impressed I managed to get them done at all. Being stuck in a hospital for a good chunk of the month and being bedridden for a lot of the rest makes it hard to get painting done.

 OATHING: Vanessa treasure hunter, Taelor, some reaper mini I'm using as a Desperate merc, Pandora, and a Poltergeist taelor, vanessa, and pandora are Malifaux models. The poltergeist is.. A thing of my own creation to count as the malifaux model of the same name. I dunno if it counts as a conversion for the purposes of the conversion bonus, but here's a better shot of it.

OATH COMPLETE!   Detektuv's Jurnal Pandora's box has unleashed torment upon this crew of mercenaries!   Taelor's torso covered in bruises from self loathing, and the desperate merc sliced her leg open from the box's misery   Vannessa has dodged most of pandora's twisted magic and merely burnt her wagging finger.   One of the tentacles on this poltergeist has been torn, muscle tissue beneath revealed! or are those teeth? Isn't this thing a spirit? Maybe its messing with our mercenaries' minds.

OATH COMPLETE      Detektuv's Jurnal Cut and swapped on one of the ashigaru's spear to point into another direction, Izamu's weapon arm has changed positions and Yah Low's arms are now skeletal. pre-painting image reposted: Double the fun did last month's Jurnal for damage. Izamu, the Armour having seen hundreds of wars still contains relics from past battles lodged into its empty husk of necromantic energy. Themed Group and Conversion

OATH COMPLETE     Detektuv's Jurnal Ama no Zako has devoured many and slain more in her toxic miasma, and in the process her robes have gotten all dirty! Bloodstains and purple vapor stains just will not wash out. Puppet Seamus's cleaver and Pokey Viktoria's pokey bits still hold stains from the surprisingly blood filled dolls they've carved up. Oathing: Spawning Vessel and 6 grunts from privateer press Hordes series and Yamaziko from Wyrd's Malifaux. One of the grunts is knocked over behind on the left, you can see her feet sticking out. I can retake if necessary. The grunts and the vessel are all have a base coat of some form on and you can see some red there as well. Those are all fine for amnesty month right?

Oathing: Wyrd's puppet bete noire, privateer press' hordes line Swamp Gobber Bellows Crew and three Blighted Nyss Legionaires.  As well as a close shot of the gobbers, who I converted to both be "blighted" and give them spiny mowhawks. I was wondering if it counted as hair even if it was made of scales.

OATH COMPLETE    Themed Group Detectuv's Jurnal  These gobbers are sporting spiny mowhawks. Now how could that have happened? Backstory "Bro! I found one!" One gobber shouted to another. He ripped the sheet off the tavern billboard and ran to the bar where his brother sat. The elder gobber turned from his drink and adjusted his goggles to look at the sheet. Wanted: fogmakers. If interested head up the path until you reach snow. We'll find you. "It's work bro!" "Looks sketchy to me Mog. No credentials. We don't need a job that ba-" The bartender interupted with a rather forced cough. "Ok maybe we do. A job's a job. Where do they need us?" The goblin brothers trudged along the mountain path, fog gear in tow. "I sure hope these fellows pay well. Cold's gettin' to me." "Oy, I see snow up ahead. Any camps?" The big gobber turned a knob on his goggles. "Not even any smoke. This better not have been a waste of-" Something zoomed by and the big goblin kneeled over. "Vog!" was all the second could say before being hit. Vog awoke in shackles nailed to a tree. "My aching head... Didn't think I'd get skorne this far north. Well I escaped you guys twice I can do it again!". The gobber fidgeted with his manackles and quickly freed himself. First rule of being a non-human mercenary: Know how to escape from a bad gig. This time was easy, they hadn't even taken his gear. Adjusting his goggles he peeked around the tree. Mog was speaking with some robed figures. Except... "Mog?" The younger goblin's skin was discoloured and little spines were sprouting out of him. One of the robed figures was muttering giberish. The goblin turned to his old name. His eyes were glowing. "Welcome to the legion brother" The back of Vog's mind screamed to run away. His body refused to cooperate. Little spines began to grow out of his skull. "Yes.. The Legion." I always figured being "blighted" was like some combination of mutation and brainwashing, since the blighted nyss are described as loving everblight. Why not have mercs become blighted too? Speed painting

OATH COMPLETE     Detektuv's Jurnal None of these models used metalic paints for their armour, weapons, or gemstones. I think the gems turned out alright but the armour and weapons...        Part's List All paints are reaper with the exception of vallejo for white and mediums. All primed in Black. Washes used are Agrax Earthshade unless specified. Reckoning of Everblight: Base was made using a combination of a clear/cloudy rock I think is quartz, "realistic water" from woodland scenics, and snow flock. Lylyth

Oathing: Reaper bones vampire conversion and Privateer Press Beast Mistress, three Blighted Nyss Legionaires and 2 Stinger light warbeasts. For conversions, can it still count as one if the conversion was done already? I made it before and have WIP pictures of it but I created it between oaths. Still gonna show the process but just wanted to be sure.

OATHING: Wyrd miniatures Avatar Lilith, two freikorps models, two puppet wars models, and 8 malifaux scheme/corpse/scrap markers. Question about the diorama; if I decide to do one should I oath addition the unpainted terrain piece for it? Also would it count as one or just a fancy base if I did say, The hooded rider puppet there on a street infront of a brick wall casting a shadow that looks like its proper Malifaux model. I'd post an image of it anyway should I get that little scene built in time but was mostly wondering if just an image or an official "oath addition" picture would be required.

OATH COMPLETE!     Detectuv's Jurnal, Fly your flag, and I rolled a 6!       Doublesided tokens for Scrap/corpse/scheme in Malifaux. In keeping with my freikorps theme, Johnny joins as a regular soldier. The specialist, well... After the great PDF codex layoff some battle sisters turned to mercenary work. Flag based on the freikorps lightning bolt mixed into the Order of Our Martyred Lady and her colour scheme matches the order's as well. I was wondering if it would be alright to merge the related models images into a single photo for the next time as well, just to reduce the total number of images or if this works well enough as it is.

OATH COMPLETE This Is My Diorama Entry    Detektuv's Jurnal Breast Cancer Awareness and Non-metalic Metal on the metal parts of the syringe.  Strike A Pose  Pandora. Elusive neverborn capable of blending in with humans and tough enough for the Ortegas themselves to seek additional help in her capture. The Freicorps had received a large sum up front, with the other half in exchange for her head. With new recruits Johnny the freicorpsman and Sister F the Specialist, the mercenary group set up a trap and had at last corned the wicked creature. With Von Schill's morale boosting aura they had assumed the bounty was secure and the fight was over. Then the box opened.
