I, Signal, do Oath the following models: One Corvus Belli/Infinity 28mm Auxilia, lightly converted to be an Order Sergeant specialist. Ten Games Workshop Rhinos, eight of which have been converted to be Predator Destructors for Epic, a 6mm scale game. These have been primed red because that's the color of primer I had, and I'm too cheap to get more gray. The Rhino in the back is just poorly primed. These will be a Themed Group. In the future, if I'm doing 6mm vehicles do I still need the full 10 to qualify? To showcase the conversion, I've taken a picture with an unmodified Rhino, the source of the turret, and another Predator which I completed last year:

Leperflesh posted:Neither do I! The general rules are that if the mini isn't supposed to be based, you get the point for free. But I'd like someone familiar with dreadball to please confirm, or alternatively, krushgroove please verify. Yeah, Dreadball minis should be left on the clear base. It's so you can see what kind of hex they're standing on.

Oath Complete! Terrible picture, but it does show the scratchbuilt Heavy Bolters on the sides of the Predators. Converting the helmet to look like an Order Sergeant wasn't too bad, considering it started looking like this. A bit of the tiny little PanO symbol is visible on his right shoulder, I didn't get a straight-on shot. Detektuv's Jurnal: In which I lament not having my airbrush set up. These little guys were very reluctant to cover their primer, assuring that I would not be using that primer again for anything other than red models. Main colors blocked in. The head antenna thing had fallen off when I primed him, so I had to reglue it and brush prime it white. Head piece finished up, and the other arm attached. The chest has the Knight of the Holy Sepulchre cross laboriously freehanded on, and I forget that it would be completely covered by the rifle. Red wash added to the LED sections. Not the cleanest pseudo-OSL, but good enough for tabletop. I also got the gloss sealant on, in preparation for messing around with the shoulder symbols. In addition to the Jurnal, my Predators are part of a Themed Group and are conversions.

I've done all my Infinity models with the clear bases so that the terrain underneath can be seen. Last year they qualified for basing points, but it's cool if they don't this year. If needed I guess I could rip him off and paint up a base for him to stand on...

I Signal, being of frail mind and full of self loathing, do oath the following models: Three Auxbots, a converted Engineer, and a Knight of the Holy Sepulchre from Corvus Belli/Infinity in 28mm scale. The Great Bears of Gallowswood and Two Kayazy Eliminators (minus one arm, unless it gets replaced in time) from Privateer Press/Warmachine in 28mm scale. Sixteen Assault Marines, one of whom has been converted into a lightning-claw Chaplain, from Games Workshop/Epic in 6mm scale. My lighting was rather bad, so here's a better shot: All of these models will be part of their own theme group. I'll also probably end up doing some one-time bonus things, but I don't think I have to declare those now.

Oath Complete! Detektuv's Jurnal: Battle Damage Each of the Great Bears has been damaged heavily. Box Art The Kayazy Eliminators were painted as close to the box scheme as I could get them, although I did the bases differently. This should also qualify me for Double The Fun, since two bonuses have been done in the same month.

Oath Complete! Journal for the month is Raptors symbol on all the Land Raiders: As well as a detail on the interior of Saladin's cloak: I found a fragment of Ayubbid textiles that had a pattern I liked, but it didn't seem like a good fit for the type of surface I'm painting. I found another (roughly contemporaneous) piece that had a similar design, and used that for inspiration. Overall I'm pretty happy with Saladin, especially how bright his armor is. Ninja Edit: The base is in the first photo, is that enough to get my the based points? I realized just now that I don't actually have a good shot of the top of it. Real Edit: Picture atop a base! Wooo! Oath complete! Skeletons, constituting a Themed Group. (They would have been speed painted too, but I forgot to take the 'before' timestamp picture.) Reaper (anti?)Paladin. I decided to challenge myself to paint a model in black armor, and I'm pretty happy with how it came out. His unshaven face is my Detective's Jurnal Infinity models painted this month! Crazy Koalas came out alright, but not great. I'll probably redo them in the future, after nailing the scheme down better. The Spektr (Counts as Moran Maasai) came out fairly well though, as my first model painted as a Mass Effect Alliance soldier.
