Man, I've been kind of sad the show is ending, but I've been catching up with the last few episodes and some of the recent demonstrations of Dan's lovely politics and relationships are making me think it's for the best, it would just impact my enjoyment of his work. Him telling an anecdote about Kanye being a sociopath with no connection to the real word and then gushing about how cool he is was bad enough, but the whole "Republicans and Democrats have been hacked by nazis and socialists respectively and I don't want either!" thing was such a dumb take. I somehow seem to have suffered from the illusion that Dan actively meeting and platforming some activists and minorites over the years would have softened him a bit about this kind of stuff, but I guess between this and some other poo poo I'm seeing about him and Roiland, that was naive.
