Whether he got it or not, it was funnier for him to keep going with it, especially when Spencer had the NPC turn it around so Dan could "catch" him.

......it's LINEVE!!!!

This episode was ironic with Dan saying they stopped editing the episodes so they could put them out there at a reliable schedule, then realize after Alie & Georgia came up that their whole conversation was a wash.

All the feral audio cross-promotions have been terrible. Then again, I don't like podcasts in general, so maybe its just me.

They're not all bad, but chances are the good ones are with people knew Jeff and Dan from before. Putting people on who don't really know them makes it a jumbled mess.

I think it's genuinely gross that Dan had a loving meltdown about that weird proudly ignorant girl being shamed for her lovely opinions, none of which she attempted to change, and thinks it's absolutely fine that Jeremy got loving destroyed by a crowd full of people for no legitimate reason.

There's a gap between jumping on someone for voicing an (uninformed) opinion and someone making up a story, though. I think they were all confused as to what happened with Jeremy as well.

Nah, Spencer definitely writes stuff. Remember when he told the gang about non-combat resolutions?

I thought Spencer admitted he wrote more earlier on, but since the group's D&D sessions are so ramshackle he stopped writing as much.

And the real active screen hog of D&D isn't Tylenol with Coedine, it's Mulraine "I use my crafting bag" Sedonna

So the Toronto show was (or felt like) over 2.5 hours...

Gilbert wasn't bad, but I could sense Dan's panic once he mentioned "The Tingler" for the sixth time in 10 minutes. Was that the quickest time Spencer was brought out?

She wasn't up there for too long, Dustin probably didn't want to bother editing her out.

When that blind dude came up and said he had trouble not being racist, I was reaaaally wondering where things were going to go.

That, coupled with him saying "Political Correctness is bullshit!" was kinda weird. You'd think a guy who literally can't see who he's with would be more mindful of what to say in front of people, but there he goes.

The only risk with going to see it live is that you won't be able to skip past the boring rambly bits that Dan/whoever does. Although Dan does seem to be in "Sad Drunk" mode now, so it's a bit of a drag.

Also don't listen to the show for Dan, listen for Jeff. That guy has the most interesting life...

The argument Sixler always makes, and I'm not sure I agree, is "they won't use the rules anyway because they're drunk". But something like "Roll 2d6, add your stat and tell me when you got" seems easy enough for anyone who knows where they are.

That's the problem though, they never know where they are because they're super drunk when it's time to play.

Even then, what makes it entertaining is if you just roll with whatever's happening. Dan is either drunk enough to do so or isn't and acts super pissy about what's going on. At least Jeff (and ol' Bernie) know to commit to it and plow on through.

Most successful episode of shadowrun so far! I wish Steve would guest comptrol more often, also Spencer was on point all episode, lots of good stuff. Does anyone know the name of the song that was played at the end?

The song was "Blood" by Don't Stop Or We'll Die.

Well, this is going to make Dan's "since Erin was gone I went back into slovenly playing video games all day (but I showered for her :unsmith:) " bit awkward to listen to.

You are crazy. The podcast was best when the average episode was Jeff and Dan banter->Dan and Erin have an argument on stage->drunken D&D

I've tried to listen to other D&D podcasts, where the players aren't drunk, and it's nowhere near as good.

I mean, come on, this was amazing

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GrEJYKfSp00

That's amazing because it turns into D&D:Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, not because they're drunk.

It sounds like they're bringing D&D back in the new location though?
