With the f2p change, has the population risen enough to be able to support eurogoons again? I quit last year because all European time friendly raids(US raids start at 3am for me) were cancelled after finals week because "nobody ever shows up for them anyway" despite having full groups every week except during finals and that kind of killed off the population.

If the free month only applies to new accounts, should I just make an entirely new one or is there anything on my old account that is worth keeping beyond the Barnacle source engine?

For Raptr, you can idle on the "logged out due to inactivity" screen. Finals are over, I'll probably activate my code some time tomorrow. Is there any definitive answer as to what determines whether the 30 days of game time are given? It appears to be "Rift+30 days"+"SL upgrade" so far. If I make a new account, can I still buy the collectors edition goodies for €5 or have they scrapped that?

I started playing again with the free weekend, is there any UI setting that could possibly reduce the eye strain I get from playing this game for more then 15 minutes at a time? I had that problem too when I last played but it's gotten a lot worse now.

How do I get the rest of the Centurion set? I apparently got half of it from subscription and now I got the same half in the mail for loyalty. I check my veteran's reward vendor and apparently I need another few months of veterancy. Does that mean I need to buy Patron or is it included in the 54k loyalty thing as well?

Also the factions are basically /r/atheism in country form that will not, EVER, pass up an opportunity to put " religious sheeple" in a quest text and a the other is fundamentalist cult of not-christianity with a "cleanse with fire first, pray for their souls later" stance on everything but themselves.Pick Defiants because Meridian is a far more functional city than Sanctum and it's big, stupid cathedral with only one exit. For WoW comparisons, Meridian looks a lot like Stormwind with everything important being laid out in a semi circle from the entrance and more niche NPC's in neatly categorized wings further back and Sanctum is the Undercity with everything strewn around randomly except with 3/4 of the doors between the inner and outer ring closed off. I have a Guardian now and am considering a faction change just because their city pisses me off so much.

What was the point of the iron pine peaks leveling change? Before you did your faction starters, the scar~ zones and then you could choose between the northern three zones or the southern two. Now if you do moonshade it dumps you at a dead end at 40 and you either get to do something else until 45 or do underleveled content in droughtlands.

Did they break the game? All EU shard are unavailable to me(despite some of them having a queue) and my US chars have seemingly duplicated themselves, both sets of which are coin locked and not a single email to clear it is sent to me anywhere.

Logged back into my 38 rogue to do a dungeon, got runic descent and found out that apparently the beam turrets after Rictus are bugged and fire invisible beams now.

I tried to use the ascend a friend thing, which just refreshed when my friend hit "create account". We then tried creating a glyph account, which automatically had the code applied to it on log in... but the entire account vanished when logged out again. Then we made another new account, which got through but found that 99% of the time any given Glyph page would come back as "We ran into a bit of a problem. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later." but we could manually enter the ascend code, only to find out that logging into the game itself there was supposed to be a confirmation code to be sent to his email address, which was empty save for my original recruit a friend mail.

Is the rest of SL questing content as dreadfully uninspired as Pelledane was? It feels like every 3rd quest was to kill 8 of the exact same armaturas/triarii/sagatarii that I've been fighting since the start of the zone.

What's this about the new expansion pack having 3 zones, 2 dungeons and no raid? A quick glance at the website shows 5 zones/unknown amount of dungeons/1 raid, or is that info outdated/wrong?
