My pet gets very upset with me when left unfed but thus far has swept a whole-rear end town and a bunch of this TCL top floor. Shame I had to risk a 'nade to finish off that pupating zombie for him, but minus the hearing loss all's well so far. I think I'm going to goatsestretchgoals posted:What designs do you folks use for deathmobiles/mobile bases? I haven’t ever built up a “real” endgame vehicle wider than 5 tiles because CDDA highways path through downtown fucksville. Wayfarer nomad. I am the deathmobile.

Killer-of-Lawyers posted:A cdda without vehicles wouldn't be cdda. Nomad wayfarer is good fun, especially if you (like me ) are cool enough to never play on more than ~20% loot. You can still use draggable vehicles, so shopping cart technicals remain legal.

Night10194 posted:Standard Mi-Go aren't quite as dangerous as they look, but yeah, scouts and guards are bastards. Standard Mi-Go an M4 will kill them easily, especially if you swap targets the moment one is wounded enough to back off. At which point they're probably bleeding to death anyway. For scouts my solution was just to wear a ballistic vest, it seemed to help. Towing a shopping cart everywhere is also a good scout counter if you're tough enough to tank one hit and still win a fight (very doable unless you're extremely earlygame, imo). When you get shot, run around to the opposite side of the cart, crouch, and get ready to blast the scout that'll come trundling around looking for you.

I prefer MSX because it has more equipment/wielded items, but the default tileset's multi-tile trees and stuff look really good.
