Madarame is the one that stands out the most to me. It was actually the VA changes that made me dig out the original Genshiken series and give it a quick look through. I forgot a ton of stuff, like how Kuchiki first shows up in ep 7 of the original show. For some reason I thought he joined up later with Ogiue. It's also kind of interesting to see how much the whole landscape of anime has changed in the interim between these two shows. But dear lord is the animation rough as all hell in that original series. People's faces change shape from scene to scene and Sasahara's eyes slide around his face.
