When I was in high or middle school the principal pulled that sort of test on the entire class and I was that smart student. Ironically, I completed the test and then read the last question.

Keurig machines are fine if you like drinking disgusting fluids that can't even be called coffee.

Honestly this holds for a lot (all that I've seen) of fully automatic machines too.

I roast my own coffee and I have a ECM Technika 3, French press and I sometimes (rarely) drink Turkish coffee.

I don't really see how PuTTY and a remote VM can't cut it, because that's what I've been using forever now and I haven't run into an issue yet that'd require me to install a local VM or a native Linux.

Why is it a wrong opinion? I'm just not particularly sensitive to it as opposed to most (especially >40) Germans. Like, I'm pretty sure my reaction to someone hanging that up where I work would be "you do realize what this implies, right?" and maybe laughing about it.

At last count I have access to 107 separate systems, most of which I use daily in my job as ISP tech support / escalated issues. 'Normal' reps have approx 90. Of those, probably 30 or so are unique passwords. One system I have 4 different username/password combos because there's no profile switcher, so to take a different sort of chat I have to log into a different user. This is for one of the top 5 ISPs in the US, so they don't even have the excuse of being too small to change.

If it's software you've never written, it's not a simple matter of just glancing at code. And lack of documentation makes that far worse. But please, don't let that stop you from being a judgmental rear end.

No, people need to learn to use proper English grammar like an adult. Anyone that falls back on "bad English is the norm now", especially to continue using lovely, lazy grammar, deserves to be laughed at like the idiot they are. If someone can't even bother to spell properly or put a sentence together, why should a job NOT throw their resume in the garbage where it belongs? Do you really think I'm going to pay attention to an email from someone who writes like a drat 6 year old?

You sound like a right laugh at parties.

Same job had a lady that refused to ever reboot her PC because she didn't want to re-open all her programs and files. Because of all the various patches and updates that had been released without reboot, it was causing her PC to freak out and apps to crash randomly. My boss argued with her about it for a couple hours, even offered to save her work, take a screenshot of the programs she had open, and get her password so he could reboot and log in as her when he was done. She flipped out and refused, but apparently forgot she put her password on a sticky note under her mouse pad. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer...

Oops, sorry, power outage happened so the PC rebooted.
