It's actually amazingly powerful at 40-so destruction where I mainly use Firebolts or whatever. I can take a huge bite out of things with a flurry of dagger hits until the target flashes orange and then dual-casting a Firebolt point blank.

I used it to tone down the size and huge gorilla arms that normally come with the "buff beast people" thing and also moved back the "shield on back" node from another mod so it doesn't clip with the knapsack from Frostfall. If it's any reassurance, I know literally nothing about Bethesda modding or 3D modeling and I could still just feel my way around this thing.

If you've played a Skyrim character past level 10 or so, you will have experienced the things that SPERG changes for the better. Boo dumbass "+10% damage with thing, rank 1/5" stuff that encourages maxing out single trees, yay unique effects and benefits that play in tandem with other skills.

Speaking of ENB builds that you won't even notice the hit with... help? I've been kinda skittish to ever bother with the drat thing because ooOOOOOoooo potential framerate hit. Also because I don't want poo poo to look exactly like a mix of WoW and Oblivion oh gently caress my eyes.

Well: 1.) Skyrim crashing when memory use exceeds 3.1GB is a thing 2.) Skyrim gobbling up tons of memory in general is a thing 3.) Patching executables to go up to the 64bit memory limit is also a thing I dunno about other of the "performance enhancer" stuff that's in there, but if your long sessions are consistently crashing after a certain amount of adventuring, it could help. I don't think that's what your problem is.

So I got to Avanchnzel and the last two ghost encounters aren't firing properly.  The scene where Roots is supposed to die horribly just has all three ghosts file up against the closed door, then the human mercenary shouts "Wait!" and they all disappear. The final scene near the Lexicon pedestal never kicks off and the ghosts just stand there forever. I do have the USKP and the patch apparently fixed this stuff years ago. Is there a script I can kick in the reset button to make things work?

You can experiment a lot more. I feel like the skills are going up faster all over the board.

I didn't like RN&D at all. I think the cincher was that you had to measure your food intake just so or you'd suffer from URP TOO BLOATED PLUH CAN'T CARRY ANYTHING fatness. Also, the need for sleep was way too frequent and I couldn't muster up the effort to tweak it right.

Yeah, as long as it's just meshes or texture stuff, you're safe with hotswapping things in and out. When you start messing with actual in-game objects in the actual in-game world, then the strands start tangling up.

They're different things. BOSS arranges a mod loading order according to what some diligent people have submitted into a table on the Internet. MO is pretty great and you should probably use it instead of the mod manager in the launcher. e: God, gently caress you people

The stuff that alters the skeleton (sheath placements, quiver placements, bodypart size and scale and so on) doesn't merge just like that. All of those things are contained in the one .nif file that gets overwritten. However, some enterprising prick took it on himself to merge changes from different skeleton replacers according to what was popular and was requested. Maybe you can find a skeleton that caters to those mods there?

I'm pretty sure that solid white textures are what happens when you run out of memory. Purple is a traditional TEXTURE NOT FOUND placeholder.

God, I've been poring over the .esp of Immersive Armors 7 for ages and I can't for the life of me understand how the things get into the leveled lists. Aside from trivial things like hunters and the Ali'kr, I just can't find any point where they connect into the existing values and tables.
