To him, written words are an inscrutable and opaque indicator that something is interesting and, as such, probably an exciting new challenge.

It took three years between showing my wife the first episode and watching the whole series. I imagine the hard N didn't help at the time. She loves it now, though, gets mad when I watch it without her.

That first season did feel a bit like it was picking a big issue and poking fun at it, whereas it's a lot more of an ensemble comedy now with characters playing off each other more as opposed to a central what the gently caress am I typing here nobody cares

I really don't like how rushed everything is getting! One of the parts of Sunny that always appealed to me was that they were literally killing time mostly just having stupid bickering exchanges about plans or ideas but what actually got done in the end was hardly anything if they even left the bar at all. Most of the fun were the things they said and their facial expressions/tones of voice. Those get lost with these "event" episodes. I'm craving another good bottle episode, I suppose. Something with just the gang, all the gang, nobody else and no escape

It is high time Dennis realized that, despite being a golden god and I! I! Iiiiii! that he still ends up hanging around his sister and his loser alcoholic highschool friends in an empty dive bar. How long can one keep up a false reality while the gap between delusion and actuality grows wider? As dark as it would be, Dennis struggling with suicidal depression would be a real treat.
