"But is Ra's al Ghul immortal? Are his methods supernatural?" "Or just cheap parlor tricks to conceal your true identity, Ra's?" (God, this show really is Batman Begins: The TV Show.) I loved pretty much everything about this episode. I'm hoping we see off-island Slade by the end of this season.. The mud/facepaint mimicking the mask was a nice touch.

I mean, they've introduced the idea that ARGUS has all these folks locked up in cells- it wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility for there to be some sort of jailbreak, have her escape.. Hell, if they ever wanted to have Nightwing/any Bat-folks show up, that'd be an ideal way to do it. But, realistically, I'm willing to bet it was just a quick cameo. A fun one, too. They could have some fun with that idea, if Oliver keeps some involvement with ARGUS- have people in the cells you don't wanna have on the show but wanna tease people with.

Good episode, except: A) Whiny Thea, which I thought we were kinda done with, and B) Them holding off on Laurel telling Oliver she knows, 'cause, that does nooooot need to be dragged out. I actually like the reveal with Isabel at the end, 'cause when they killed her, I kinda went, "Oh. Well. That was anti-climactic."

It's like you people just want them to fast forward through any character development that doesn't contain a fight scene. No, you're right, that was an overreaction on my part. I think I just expected more from the scene when Ollie told her about his dad knowing about Merlyn- not a full, "Oh okay everything is sunshine and rainbows!", but more of a recognition.
