The Appeal Masochism. If you hate yourself this is the show to watch because it is unbelievably garbage. It somehow manages to be worse than the comic and the comic was already an embarrassment to the medium of sequential art.

On the other hand, the episodes with Morgan are both great, and some of the scenes between Meryl and Daryl are really good, to the point where the show can move between being one of the best shows on television and one of the worst in a single episode.

A mythological god led an alien army to devastate downtown New York, but was repelled by an above the law millionaire with a robot suit, that monster that rampages around sometimes, another mythological god, and an actor who died in WWII, all led by a shadowy secret government organization that didn't exist until like, a month ago. Literally every preconception everyone ever had about the world is wrong. poo poo should be going absolutely crazy.

In continuing it's "throw in as much comic stuff as possible" Season 2 of Arrow is setting up Brother Blood to be a pretty interesting bad guy and has decided to throw in the League of Shadows and namedrop Ra's al Ghul to continue the Nolan film comparisons .

Next episode is called League of Assassins, so with a little luck the Arrow League of _ and Ra's will have nothing to do with the Nolan versions.

And the DC train keeps on churning and Rob Thomas is working on an iZombie show for the CW (despite the series being cancelled last year).

I really like I, Zombie, up until the end when they got cancelled and had to cram a bunch of plot in to the last couple issues.

Yeah the ending was bad as it seemed that they had to bring characters from c-z in order to get the ending that they wanted. Also if they are going to do any Allred series I would rather them do Madman.

They gave it such a stupid timeslot, that show, Green Lantern TAS, and Symbiotic Titan seemed like they would have done much better if they were on at like 7-8 on a Monday. Then again Cartoon Network also decided to gently caress over Samurai Jack and Justice League Unlimited so not surprising.

I maintain that Sym-Bionic Titan deserved to fail for having a combining robot that was impossible to make a toy out of.

Dig will be Hawkman. It'll be the start of a simmering subplot where he grumbles about big government and Obamacare.

That's just Hawk. For Diggle to be Hawkman they need to introduce a completely contradictory new backstory for him and reference the old backstory in the same episode.

Why would he leave directing for a supporting role in a CW show?

Remember, Barry Allan is a goofy nerd. Now he's got enough power to do cool stuff, but also to get himself into serious trouble.

That's a really common thing in stuff now. They don't tell actors that are going to die in Walking Dead that they are going to die until just before shooting. I think Game of Thrones is like that too, trying to keep the actors from spilling the beans over their and other characters deaths.

Uhhhh, I hate to tell you, but Game of Thrones has been thoroughly spoiled. You can go online and download incredibly detailed descriptions of like, the next three seasons.

For that matter, a number of the actors have admitted just buying the book to find out what happens to them. Granted, some haven't, but it's not like they can keep the actors from reading books that have been out for over a decade. Hell, some of them may have read 'em before they were even cast!

I will never understand how the Tv show that's a faithful adaptation of a very popular best-selling book series spawned a fandom so psychotic about avoiding spoilers

It's not like many people read for pleasure in the past either. There was a very narrow band of time after literacy became widespread, but before A: television got good and B: internet porn.

IMO the Blackout stuff can be excused for being bad because it was there simply to get half the crew out of the base so the real plot (the Grant/Skye thing) could work. And that part of the episode was pretty drat good.

I'm convinced in the next episode of Arrow that Barry's gonna wake up from his coma and rush to the scene with the Mirakuru antidote.

I want every CW DC show to spin off another CW DC show. Do it like Kamen Rider, where the next Kamen Rider has a brief cameo just to show off towards the end.

That's how they should be building to a Justice League movie.

I'd like it if it ended up, tonally at least, like STAS compared to BTAS. They had the same production house and similar animation styles, but Superman was bright and comic book-y and Batman was dark and realistic.
