I think Chris Hardwick is really funny but I think his other tv shows and his podcast are all bad so I can see how someone could not like him. I'm not even sure about his standup really, I just think he's a great podcast guest whenever he's on Doug Loves Movies or Comedy Bang Bang or whatnot.Tupping Liberty posted:I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes Chris Hardwick, although I'm probably the only person here that thinks he's dreamy. The actual show in and of itself are interesting if they could get rid of the other crap. It's not really the shows' or AMC's fault though. That stuff actually matters to people who make decisions. That's just the world we live in now. And if we want to talk about the poo poo advertising and those corporations responsible for advertising are to blame for, annoying us with internet buzzwords is pretty goddamn low on that list.

I don't get to watch the episodes until the next day, but no matter how bad tonight's episode was, I'm sure tomorrow night's episode will make up for it. And speaking of being a day behind, I hope Kurt Braunohler is on a lot more episodes. He is so good at this show. Grace Helbig had some great jokes too, despite appearing to be incredibly nervous. She kind of looked terrified at several points in the show.

Somewhere on the internet she explained the whole thing but I forget where or how I came across it. Basically goons/internet nerds are awful human beings (no surprise there). Jon Daly was playing a character named Bill Cosby-Bukowski, who is, as the name suggests, a hybrid of Bill Cosby and Charles Bukowski. It has Tim Heidecker being Tim Heidecker, so if you don't like that guy it might be a pass. Personally I go back and forth about Heidecker, but I think this episode is worth watching either way, because Jon Daly was hilarious on the episode.

This explanation isn't going to do it justice, but basically his "schtick" is having a... less than stellar life but being really super positive (and loud) about the smallest accomplishments. I can see how a lot of people wouldn't find him funny but I think he's hilarious. Especially when he just goes off and rambles on and on without getting to his jokes. There were some Youtube videos of him doing that very thing, but I can't find them at the moment. Also his show is great, although I've only seen the HBO.com thing. Watch the first or second episode (I forget) to find out just how much of an rear end in a top hat Chelsea Handler is. Also I think this episode sucked because all 3 of them work best when they're given more space than @Midnight allows. The Sklars really work best when they're able to riff off each other, and Brody Stevens is best, like I said, when he can just ramble. Does anybody know, was Ron Funches based in New York until recently? I didn't know anything about him until about a month ago and he just blew up. If he was in LA before then I wonder why he wasn't as well known as he is now.

Women wearing fedoras just remind me of Jennifer Aniston's character on 30 Rock and I'm not sure if that's my problem, 30 Rock's problem, or the fedora's problem.
