If this show is actually good, my question becomes: Is it metahumor that they advertise this show with the same infuriating SCREAMING IN THE MIDDLE OF A COMMERCIAL BREAK ads that every other Hardwick show gets? Or do they not realize that those commercials are that annoying?

Yeah, and if you've watched Breaking Bad or Walking Dead live or on DVR within the past few years, he's most known to you as that guy who comes on right after a quiet scene and goes really loving loud "WOW WASNT THAT COOL HEY EVERYONE IM CHRIS HARDWICK COME WATCH TALKING DEAD AFTER THIS IS OVER" and you just want to punch him for ruining the moment.

It's not his fault, really, AMC should know better than to do that, but that's a good chunk of why people get sick of him.

He's legitimately a great television host, which sounds like damning with faint praise, but it's a title few people can claim these days.

@midnight started asking fans/followers to tweet under "#AtMidnightDreamTeam"; a dream team can consist of any three people, living or dead. Any thoughts?

Colin Mochrie, Ryan Stiles, Greg Proops.

Or:

Mo Rocca, Paula Poundstone, Roy Blount, Jr.

OR:

George Carlin, Bill Cosby, Richard Pryor.

And she would have been eliminated too, had Chris not saved her.

Maybe they should go ahead and drop that part. Ever since New York, it feels like he's done it at least once a week.

I've always felt it was unnecessary since the beginning of the show. The show takes a Whose Line approach to points until one arbitrary point where they do, and then they get wiped clean. It's like they're really attached to the artifice of the game show format.
