Cost too much money. Let's hope the next time they go around, they throw the light show out.

Anybody know what the prints from The Spiral fanclub are worth? I have Pretty Hate Machine/The Downward Spiral/The Fragile/Broken/Fixed and the only thing I can find on them is some dude in Australia trying to sell his on eBay for $180

I also found a bigger print of the alternative artwork for Beside You In Time I got with my HD-DVD preorder. Can't find a thing about it anywhere.

"In these few years, I kind of accidentally got into scoring films. I started a new band: How to Destroy Angels; we put two records out. I tried writing a TV show for HBO, which failed. I started a family, and surprisingly, I found myself inspired by that," Reznor told The Associated Press before playing over the weekend at the Lollapalooza festival in Chile.

Hesitation Marks would have been a million times better if he just cut all the songs before Everything and included Copy Of A/All Time Low as b-sides.

Everything is such an amazing song and it sucks how he'll probably avoid that style in the future.

While I don't think it's a "bad" song, it just doesn't sound dark or unique. You could easily replace it with any Top-40 pop-rocker singing it and who would know it was even an nin song. Also:

http://youtu.be/xaWe_4AaH8Y

When you have fan videos of the song with Pikachu, Kermit The Frog, and puppy dogs, and it works...

I don't know, if I heard that wall of sound dissonant guitars thing in a top 40 pop rocker song, I'd be pretty surprised. That and the ending are trademark NIN.

The first part of the album dragged the whole album down for me. Eater Of Dreams is whatever. Copy Of A is a great live song. Came Back Haunted is embarrassing. I felt embarrassed for him every time I saw it as the lead song on every live TV appearance he made. Find My Way, boring. All Time Low, Manson demo track. Disappointed, boring.

Don't get me wrong. I like All Time Low but the whole time I'm listening to it, I'm can't stop thinking 'this is a song written for Manson. why isn't Manson singing'. It's kinda like when you hear the Prince demo of Manic Monday. It's good but, even though he's the guy who created the song, you can't help feeling like the vocals are off.

Big Black Delta is launching a new album pretty soon

quote:

The song 'It's OK' was inspired by a series of difficult events that occurred during the year after Jon completed his tour on BBDLP1, the last Big Black Delta record. This included losing his father to a stroke, finding that all of his gear was stolen, and losing one of his best friends to cancer. Since going public with some of this news, Bates has been inundated with incredible kindness and thoughtful support from friends, musicians, fans and strangers alike. This song is a thank you. A gesture of gratitude to everyone who has been kind — and to the universe itself.
Big Black Delta's forthcoming album 'Tragame Tierra' is due out in January 2016, you can pre-order now via Pledge Music, alongside limited edition and exclusive merchandise:

Saul Williams deserved (and still does deserve) better. If you read up on the dude's career it's pretty sad. He starred in a musical that only lasted 17 shows and now he's working with the guys behind She Wants Revenge, oof.

(This won't be a popular opinion but) Saul's kinda stupid. Trent wanted to do NiggyTardust 2 but he decided to gently caress off to Paris with his Nike money for a couple of years. When Occupy was going on and things were at a rolling boiling for his style of art, he released Volcanic Sunlight. It's not a bad album but talk about wrong place/wrong time. We finally got the album that should have been the follow up to NiggyTardust but it's too late to make any sort of impact.

There's also funny incidents sprinkled throughout that time like him crowdsourcing a book of poetry where the poets were barely compensated and getting invited to Kanye West's studio in Paris but getting so drunk that he blacked out in front of the booth.

All that said, I really enjoyed MartyrLoserKing and would love to see him perform live if he ever came to my area again. I saw him on his Volcanic Sunlight tour in a tiny bar and it was spectacular.

You can expand that to working for Apple Music as the Chief Creative Officer, using his position to get Zane Lowe a gig, taking the company's position in the press against YouTube, singing a ditty for Leonardo DiCaprio's vanity project, being one of many hollywood dopes to say 'i'm from a place that's been raped to death by free trade...but we gotta support hillary clinton', etc, etc, etc.

Basically, he's a giant contradiction. And not even in a fun way like Prince was.
