I thought this was an RPG with optional multiplayer, not an MMO?

Play options will include solo, friends only, or open multiplayer via the Selective Multiplayer system.

I dunno doesn't really sound MMO to me but that term is so broad now that maybe it does to others and I'm just old fashioned.
