if there's a goon road trip, we need to make sure we take good old fashioned routes/black tops rather than interstates. If I'm travelling I want to experience 'MURICA. (like parts of 66 that are still drivable, or even the Oregon Trail since it's geographically close to Indiana as a starting point.)
