I suspect that's it, I had to get this dumb dongle to get my Motu interface to work with my ipad. I don't know if a powered hub would work.

I used the M4 as my primary interface til I got the 828es, it's great. I think the Ultralite would be super overkill unless you see yourself needed more inputs/outputs in the future.
