tl;dr I want an extremely fast thunderbolt interface with a decent but not crazy amount of ins and minimal extras to pair with my Mac Mini. I record guitar/bass via amp + suhr reactive load ir and synths. Is the PreSonus Quantum 2626 as perfect as it seems for this situation? I can’t seem to find anything as close to perfect as that in the price range. It’s pricy but something I could buy and never think about again and I’d really like to go for quality with this. The midi options are useful too and not too bloated, though I haven’t really explored if I could benefit from midi that way vs using my synths usb cables. I like the aesthetics too. It’s minimalist and not full of weird clunky design like many interfaces lol. Right now I’m using the Zoom H6 and it’s fantastic as a multitrack interface but it’s certainly not ideal for the job. e: any idea how much weight I can put ontop of the presonus? If I get it I might need to put my u2410 on it or find another monitor riser. Kilometers Davis fucked around with this message at 14:48 on Oct 18, 2020 |
