I think these questions belong here.

I am upgrading my many-year-old computer, which currently has installed in it an M-Audio Audiophile 2496 sound card that I like. I really only use it for its RCA I/Os and MIDI port. I will no longer be able to use this card because it is PCI, and nothing uses PCI any more. M-Audio apparently no longer offers sound cards.

I'm plugging in an MPD-24 drum pad set and a turntable and maybe a mic. The MIDI interface on the MPD-24 was much more crisp than the USB one, though I suspect that with newer USB ports (> 2.0) this may no longer be an issue.

Is there an audio interface that has those features? Or do I just need a USB mixer?
