ML goons please help:

I recently purchased a Scarlett Solo and I love it! No more pissed off neighbors! I can do all the neat guitar amp sim and cab impulse stuff I dreamt of and it sounds great. That said, I have a weirdo fuzz pedal (Death By Audio Fuzz War) that sounds great into a screaming amp but not so much into a DI (very weak sound). I emailed the creator of the pedal and he said the pedal pushing the amp is how it achieves its sound but recommended, if going DI, try putting it in front of another pedal, preferably OD or signal boost. Have yet to try this as I don't have any handy at the moment and don't feel like humping my laptop, interface, guitar and pedal to loving Guitar Center.

Anyone have any advice/thoughts?

edit: i suppose something like a tiny/micro terror with headphone out + cab/mic modeling would work?
