I like the RoPS logo, and that FC Honka is a stupid name and says ES Poo under the crest.

That's a really great idea and it's def inspiring me to get off my rear end and do something similar. I'd offer some constructive criticism too but I think luvd covered pretty much all of it. Keen to see any other stuff you come up with for sure, it's a drat sight better posting than a massive image dump

It's clean, it's simple, it will probably look good on a kit. I can see why some folks might not like the gradient thing going on, and it could probably use a dinosaur on there, but overall I think it's nice.

It's loving cheap trash Web 2.0 design where the lack of design is papered over by modern gradients and youth inspired drop shadows. It looks fine, but is the perfect example of instantly dated design.

Every Big Sam team should just change their crest to a brick. Not a picture of a brick, but every time the crest gets displayed someone shows up and throws a brick at you.

Oh agreed, it's only relevant for club badge redesigns simply because they have to justify the changes to the history of it. And either way, the bullshit spiel will be from the design firm to the league/club, and then that will be normally filed away and never spoken of again. I guess if the MLS design was done in-house, they felt the need to tell someone about their lovely ideology behind it? The A-League did much the same when it was created 10 years ago, although I don't remember if that was done in-house or not.

It's a terrible logo and the infographic explaining it makes me laugh forever

Steaua Bucharest has lost the right to call themselves that and are being forced to remove the word "steaua" (star) and the actual red star in their logo because the Romanian Army owns the brand according to a recent court ruling. You have to wonder what monetary gain the Army will be getting from this.

Are they still able to call themselves Steaua Bucharest? Because that's a recognisable name across the world imo (at least by football fans), even if the crest probably isn't.
