What's the difference between Modern and Legacy? Just an available card pool? Is there any reasons to play Modern over Legacy or Legacy over Modern?

This is probably a noob question but if I attack with Aurealia and 3 other creatures and then I untap them and attack again can I then cast Relentless Assault and attack two more times per Aurelia's ability?

Eeeee, that's sick. So would this be possible then? (I play R/W Soldiers EDH) Aurelia + creatures attack Cloudshift before second combat phase Arurelia + creatures attack Flash in Restoration Angel to essentially Cloudshift Aurelia Aurelia + creatures attack Aurelia + creatures attack ***end turn***

My playgroup just started playing Pauper commander, actually I think it's Peasant. 1 Uncommon commander, 9 uncommons and the rest commons. It's probably the most fun I ever had playing.

I went with UW build and Azorius Guildmage as my commander. I made it a Governement/Police style deck so I have the "detainer"guys in there, anyone who can tap creatuers and alot of ETB/flicker effect instants. It was a freaking blast to play and it seemed like everyone was on about equal footing vs. our normal commander games where the same 2-3 people win because they shell out money for any kind of card imaginable just for casual style play. I wonder if my LGS does any kind of Pauper/Peasant commander leagues like they do with regular, I'd join that in a heartbeat

My first rare was Odric, Master Tactician and it's because I bought the starter deck. Yup, I'm that new to MTG. I'm 33 so I remember the game in the Alpha and laughing and making fun of my friends for playing a stupid card game, yet here I am 20+ years later obsessed as ever w/it while they sold off their collections 15+ years ago. I wonder if I would have had any staples if I started w/them when they did

MODO seems more terrible by the day. I mostly play EDH (lol) on it and I've never seen a bigger group of babies than MODO EDH players. Some of the comments I see are hilarious "NO COUNTERSPELLS" "NO MONO COLORS, DRAW EXTRA CARDS OR PLANESWALKERS" and I just saw "NO BLUE"

Pretty sure the new iteration of MODO has broken Ninjutusu. The second I attack it won't let me Ninjutsu anything in if they don't declare blockers. It just goes to the damage step. WTF

Commander is great with your friends only. I wouldn't have any interest in joining random games at your LGS with people you don't know. The people who seem to hate it the most are babies who take it too seriously and play with the goal of winning. If you got 4 friends who just casually like sitting around shooting the poo poo and drinking it's really fun and relaxed.
