How is Asamoah? It figures the Falcons target a player who was benched as their primary signing, but was it more because Schwartz was that good or Asamoah that bad?

Nice job updating that list of free agents.

Man that list of QB's is depressing.

He's a solid starter who is good primarily at zone blocking. I want to keep him mostly because his backup is a Patented Pioli Pick.

Cool, thanks. Although, now Pioli is in Atlanta so... :(

So when Revis hits the market, what do you all think he'll end up getting per year?

I'd guess around $11-$12 million.

He'll make another 15-20 million this year.

This is the fun time of year while Giants fans watch all the big names fly by while the rank 25-50 guys trickle in for 1 mil a year over the course of the next few weeks.

Oh, and then we'll re-sign some dude and give him a hilarious contract for no reason

According to NFL Network, the Vikings are a possible landing spot for Darren Sproles.
Sproles hasn't officially been cut by the Saints yet as they try to trade him. But if that doesn't work, we can easily connect the dots to Minnesota. New Vikings OC Norv Turner coached Sproles in San Diego from 2007-10 and Adrian Peterson has never excelled in the pass game.

It sounds like the Giants are going to ink EDS, who is a pretty solid center and should merit a decent sized contract.

E: I'm very interested to see what kind of market James Starks had. He looked like a different player this season- Starks made Johnathan Franklin a total afterthought and did an excellent job taking advantage of the Packers's much improved run blocking this year.

Good news, reports are coming out that neither EDS nor La Puente want to sign with the Giants.

By good news I of course mean "The Giants are going to somehow bring Baas back to make me even more miserable"

Here you go Doltos, the Giants may lose said battle but at least they are trying to do something!

NFL.com's Mike Silver reports a "battle is shaping up" between the Giants and Rams for free agent G/T Geoff Schwartz.
Both teams have extreme needs along their offensive lines, particularly in the interior. That's where Schwartz is best utilized. Schwartz can play both guard spots and right tackle.

The Browns are supposedly close to agreements with Donte Whitner and LB Arthur Moats, bringing the total number of Arthurs on the Browns to 1

Ah much better because Schwartz is apparently a good player and we need guard help like the dickens.

Darrelle Revis - DB - Buccaneers

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport mentions the Browns as a "team to watch" in a trade for Darrelle Revis.
Initial reports were that the Bucs were asking for two first-round picks in exchange for Revis, but that's laughable. The Tampa Bay local media believes the Bucs would simply take a mid- to late-round pick for Revis. The Browns hold two third-rounders and two fourth-rounders in May's draft and are flush with cap space. They could easily take on Revis' $16 million. Pairing Revis with Joe Haden in Mike Pettine's press man-cover scheme would be nasty.

Mhm I'm sure I'm sure Ian
