It has a lieutenant universal/intel seat.

bij
Feb 24, 2007

The pilot escorts have built-in reverse and strafe maneuvers and come with pilot bridge officer seating. There's other ships that have pilot boff seating, but only the Z-store pilot ships have the maneuvers. The bridge officer pilot abilities are pretty ho-hum and they aren't as cool as the built-in stuff.

The JJTrek bridge viewscreen functions are projected over a window while the Enterprise D and E viewscreens are projectors built into a bulkhead. The D does have a skylight over the bridge though.

Pretty sure the viewscreen on the Origin bridge for the Feds is a take on the JJtrek design.

I like it, though one part provokes a question. Why defense on the Lt. Cmd. tactical track instead of accuracy? I don't know the numbers well enough to judge.

PVE ships have low defense so accuracy is wasted and the bonus crit from accuracy rollovers isn't significant. The defense is there to proc Reciprocity and hit 15 points assigned to the tac tree for the energy weapon crit bonus.

At least they kept the deflector something other than blue, the yellow deflector on the Sovereign owns and Cryptic usually just sticks various boring rear end blue ones on everything.

The saucer and nacelles are pretty rear end though, looks like the Guardian almost.

bij
Feb 24, 2007

That is true. The Sovereign at launch had the default blue deflector and it stayed that way for quite a while.

The engineering hull looks way too stubby for the size and bulk of the shovel saucer.

The navy kits I already had in my inventory weren't upgraded automatically, so you can probably save a bit of dil and ec by just re-running the mission if you'e planning on using it.

To further elaborate, the reward kit apparently spawns with random mods aside from the default epic mod of [KP/WPN] so there is potential for some nice kits.

bij
Feb 24, 2007

Kit performance, weapon damage, personal shield generator, HP, & PSG, all of these are good. Kit performance especially makes a noticeable difference for the damage on kit powers. An epic Mk 14 Romulan Navy kit will give you 150 points worth of stats on top of the plasma damage and crit bonus.

I don't know about weapon performance on ground kits, it doesn't do much. We're talking <3dps on the TR-116 per [WpnDmg] mod. The [HP] mod seems to provide ~30ish more life. Doesn't seem worth paying however many mil for weapon damage.
