Is it subnuke that always seems to drain all of my weapons power when fighting tholians, or is that some other poo poo? Whatever it is, it's goddamn irritating to a tac captain, and I'm considering doing something rash like removing polarize hull/switching hazard emitters to LT rank just to add Sci Team I in order to get rid of it, if it is subnuke.

Gonna be working on kitting out my new Avenger for a while, with that in mind, what is the best route to acquire decent quality Antiproton Beam Arrays? Going to need a lot of them, so I'd rather not be reduced to gambling on rep rewards or something.

What do you mean? I'm running MACO shields, Borg 3pc (console, engines and deflector) and a bunch of other poo poo that I can't recall right now. Haven't noticed any power issues right now, but I'm still running the Borg cutting beam (yes I know, bad) and one of the turrets out of my previous tac escort refit due to lack of beam arrays. What would I want to have to avoid said power issues with 8 beam arrays?

Some POS I picked up off the exchange because when I logged on last week to start playing again, I didn't have one.  So, not a fleet W->x one, if that's what you mean. I'm dilz-poor. Working on leveling my Klingon to fix that.

Oh, I didn't realize that was something I *should* be doing. I just bought it and slotted it because it was better than what I had in the rear slots at the time, figuring it'd be a stopgap at least.
