His face looks like it was hit with a shovel. And the art inside gets even worse. That said, the visuals are much better than the writing.

Spider-Gwen was average. Probably gets a huge "it's not Dan Slott" bump. It seemed predictable and void of great writing to improve on the old characters.

They did more with Silk in the first issue than that creepy Slott did. Was a big fan of issue 1 bought 2 last night looking forward to reading it. Issue 1 was the best Spider anything I've read in a while. Lovely art too.
