There are also tokens obtained from doing daily quests that can be exchanged for gear, so who knows if crafting will be worth it in the end. Are there any stat buffs from food/potions or is it just healing/mana? Also, any idea how to grab more refinement materials?

Applying to the Swordsmen guild as Average. Not sure how much I'll be playing it, but Wushu was a hell of a lot of fun, so it's worth checking this one out.

Drive refills at 8 am or it should. That is the daily reset time.

For those who don't know, 1 drive is 1 minute and you can store 600 minutes so 10 hours. I think you get 200 or so a day, don't know really.

It turns out that you unlock that feature around 30, but you don't actually get more than 1 Drive until 35. It's a bit odd.

That looks like a hell of a lot of fun. And here I thought I wasn't going to get sucked into yet another chinagame. On the bright(?) side, I might be unemployed again soon, so hooray for more time for games, right?

I liked the pve. There were some fun quests and stuff.

The best part of Chinagame PvE was the assassin fights. I fondly recall one time where a goon group was fighting the end boss of a dungeon and two goons and myself managed to stall all of the other assassins by attempting to form an array and having someone stand in the wrong place and claiming graphical glitches. I think we kept that charade up for a solid 5 minutes or so while laughing on mumble with the group actually doing the boss.

Aww, that's not nearly as much fun as just keeling over dead. I still chuckle at the time that I convinced people that butterflies were dangerous by breaking meridians as I jumped into them.

Unless they changed the underlying code, I don't see why not. I remember looking at it a long time ago and some of the things you could do with it were, uh, interesting, to say the least.

My favorite thing was that you could literally put a hotlink to any website into your speech and there was no way for anyone to figure out that it was a link and where it would take you until you clicked it.

The reason why follow the lady to the guestroom happened was because someone copied pasted the translation file wrong. It was supposed to be on line 55 or something and was on 43 instead.

And since it was no context, a lot of poo poo made even less sense.

As for images. you could put an item into the game window, high light it, contrl C, then paste it into note pad. And blam, there you go, basic html with img tags and all.

So now you just had to find the escape characters and I think it was comma or something dumb.

So you just had to write html with an escape character ahead of everything and there you go.

Yeah, it was loving hilarious. I think someone had a link for some program to decompile and recompile a bunch of game files, and I ended up looking into a bunch of them and screwing around with it. The chat stuff looked like it had been repurposed from something completely different, and a bunch of stuff that had absolutely no business being in an MMO was left in, such as the aforementioned no prompt links to any arbitrary website. You could also set up links for group invites, and a bunch of other cool stuff.

This one I guess shows a link to an item in Grithoks inventory with the font and color HLStypebattle and with the name of the link as Frost MoonSword of The Immortal Princess Meng-Li

Most of the stuff goons did was only playing around, you could have gotten really malicious with just how awful and how free the chat was

Yeah, it would have been trivial for a scammer to set up links to a malicious website or masquerade as an official employee with whispered links. There were a bunch of interesting things you could do. I no longer have the decompiled stuff, but my old notes of some random stuff looks like this:

Game is surprisingly fun, though there are some odd mechanics choices that they hopefully iron out by the release date.

I do really like that random NPCs wander the cities and the world, and some of the NPCs are actually named folks that you can interact with, spar with, and get stuff from. It's pretty neat.
