My Ram Daytona is 1 of 11,000ish Daytona's made, but 1 of 955 in 2WD, RC, Go ManGo! form. Toss in the factory random Trac-Loc rear and I think some of the guys on another site and myself figured it's 1 of less than 100.

If we're throwing relatives in here, my dad had a 1989 XJS Rouge Edition, IIRC it was 1 of 500 for the US market. Sweet rear end car, he let me take it to high school a few times. Only car I've ever driven that actually attracted girls.

Neptr posted:The rarest car of all It was uncanny how much girls liked that thing. I dunno if it was the gold plated Jaguar hood ornament or what, but females on average seem to be drawn to the XJS. Can't say I blame them, the XJS was a very sexy automobile. It took that long hood, short deck, low ride height formula to the extreme.

Bugdrvr posted:I remember reading somewhere that some math smart guy said there was some ridiculous amount of option variables to order the 1957 Chevy in. The flip side of this is the oddly optioned American cars are the ones that go for huge cash at auctions today. Your point is right, but odd and rare are often the same thing. 1 of 1 Mod Top hemi 'Cuda. Hideous, odd, rare, and worth millions.

Phy posted:So, what are good ways to find out how many of X car were built for Y market with Z trim? This is basically the only use car specific forums have, the limited edition Ram forum I used to post at basically had to threaten Chrysler with a lawsuit to get Daytona numbers published.
