FluffieDuckie posted:yes yes, of course. no anti aliasing with gifs if you look really closely at the edges of the top one, like zoom in as much as you can, you can see a color gradient where it fades from the trees color to the background color. gifs dont have as many colors so the gradient isnt as smooth which means that the edges are less smooth thats how i understand it anyway someone actually competent with image stuff can probably explain it better
