Now that Mario Kart 8 is out a lot of people are saying it's the best game on the Wii U but it's actually not. That's because Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is the best game. A lot of people are whiny about it and say the controls are "clunky". They're not, they're the same as donkey kong country. People are bad at platformers and need a 3 hour long tutorial to hold their hand and show them the games cutscenes so they can shell out another 15 bones for the season pass. I would go so far as to say Tropical Freeze is the best Donkey Kong game of all time.

If you think Super Mario 3D World is better than Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, you can go ahead and sell your Wii U and use the money to buy Glover or Rocket: Robot on wheels for the N64 instead. Tropical Freeze is a real 2D platformer for real 2D gamers.

Good music is memorable. Mediocre music blends in well with the game and can add to the experience. Bad music can ruin a game.

I honestly cannot think of any examples of this, other than bad games that came with bad music and not good ones ruined by bad music. Like really the n64 used a shitload of sound library sampled bits for stuff like Zelda. And n64 did not have the best sound quality.
