Seriously? I didn't even hear casting announcements, so I assumed he was in pre-pro. drat.

The few humans got cast and filmed worryingly quick. I imagine the other actors will just be doing voice over work for the Orcs.

Borgia

Love/Hate

I loved Showtime's The Borgias if only for Jeremy Irons chewing the gently caress out of some scenery but Canal's Borgia is honestly a superior show and period piece. John Doman completely kills it as Rodrigo and Ryder's Cesare comes across as a legitimate sociopath that believes he's doing what's right. I always felt like Arnaud's Cesare in The Borgias came across as privileged rear end in a top hat who's also into boning his sister more than being a crazy person.

Borgia is p. good, y'all. Latest season's up on Netflix.

There are amazing intelligent dramas all over, cable comedy is in the middle of its best time ever, and all y'all wanna talk about is Marvel and DC's latest story-of-the-week cash grabs for 14 year olds. This is a dark time for TV IV. At least I always have the Sopranos thread.

Here's a little secret: we're all going to be dead one day so watch whatever the schlock you like so long as it makes you happy. I love The Wire and The Shield and binge-watch documentaries like they're going outta style but that doesn't preclude me from indulging in poo poo like The Flash or Law and Order: SVU.

Do you slap an airport-grade fictional book out of somebody's hand and yell at them for not reading Pynchon?

Continuum is OK. I will eventually continue watching the second season sometime. But I hate how the show tries to make me root against the terrorists, who are absolutely right.

Yeah, one of my biggest issues with Continuum is that while I get the showrunner and writers have to make Liber-8 villains for the sake of the show, Kagame and Theseus are undeniably right about the Corporate Congress. At least they do address that a bit in the final parts of Season 3.

Since my computer exploded, I've been watching Agents of SHIELD an while I know it gets better, it's still been a rough eleven episodes. I am kinda interested in Agent Carter's show, due to Enver Gjokaj being a main cast member. That dude mostly carried Whedon's other failure of a show on his goddamned back.
