Goddamn.

On one hand, I wanted the Kings to win because gently caress NBC for not airing it. On the other, I want the Rangers to win 4 straight. It would be poetry.

The first one was simply a failure to ever so lightly tap in a puck. Which King was it that whiffed on a totally stationary puck just sitting exposed on the goal line?

And then it popped out again and ended up under Stepan when the whistle went. LA should've gotten a penalty shot but it's not something that can be reviewed.

Big game tonight. Could be the last. For the majority of the 2013-2014 season, I watched the Ranger games from home. Sitting on my comfy couch, beer in hand, bag of chips open, often with the GDT open too to see what all you maniacs thought of the game.

But then when the playoffs started, that changed. Some of it was just circumstances, some of it was wanting to experience the game in a social environment with other fans, some of it was just opportunity. But I never watched a full playoff game from home. I watched at friends apartments, at work, at the bar by my house (where I was 7-0 until Monday's game :argh: ), at bars outside MSG, on the jumbotron outside MSG, even one game on my phone.

But never at home. Never on my couch, where I sat night in and night out during the regular season, dreading how the season was going to turn out in the beginning when it wasn't looking so good, and celebrating come January when it looked like they had turned it around and might actually make some noise this year. I never watched a full playoff game from the place where I has spent the whole season with them. But it's time to rectify that.

Today is June 11th. And what am I doing tonight?

I'm staying home, watching the Ranger game. :patriot::911: :patriot:

FYI,

I will be watching Game 5 from home as well.

Same couch, same beer.

How about we just all admit that hockey is purely a game of luck. I mean the Buffalo loving Sabres could get a lot of lucky bounces and fall into a Stanley cup champio...... hahahahaha I almost finished that sentence.
