In hindsight its janky, needlessy hard, and a terrible grind, but its also the precursor for pretty much all MMORPG's today, and it STILL has stuff coming out for it and the servers are still going- almost 15 years later. Everquest very much doesn't go here. In no way shape or form is loving Everquest a "cult game."
