I am a constituent in Ted Cruz's district in Austin. I am frequently invited by Facebook's UX to post on his page, and let him know what I think. So far, I think Ted Cruz is a coward for disallowing image posting on his page.    These are mine, but feel free to use or draw inspiration from them. I feel sincerely that we should #DeportTedCruz.

I have respect for John Cornyn. Whether it was he or a page manager I interacted with on Facebook, he directly engaged me when I had questions about legislation, providing full documentation from the legislature's .gov site, along with the bill text. It has been really hard for me to speak ill of him for that reason. He knows exactly how to not be a loving suck on the internet/to the public. I'm sure his voting record is terrible or something though. Ted Cruz on the other hand is an idiot greasy piece of poo poo who pays security firms that speak poor english and mostly in emojis to gently caress with commentors on his page.

I leave the heat and the A/C off for the most part while I work UberEats during the day (everyone went home and closed early today, it was a great excuse for a day off), so it's ~60 in the house right now. I also put blankets over the windows like ghetto blackout curtains so my place is well insulated. I cannot recommend long johns enough. I have no idea how California works, so not so much as my example here, but if you assume a mature Agricultural and Dispensary Network, (which would take time to grow, admittedly), Google says $614 million for Washington's 2020 take, and that's just tax. Let's do some bozo math here; if WA has a population of ~7.5 million, and makes $614 million in tax revenue, that's $81 per person in tax revenue alone. Now! With Texas's 2020 population of 29 million... (29 mil / 7.5 mil to give us our populationproportioning factor of 3.86x, then multiply the prospective $614 million, that's gives us an estimates $2.3 billion dollars of tax revenue alone) *JUST SALES TAX REVENUE ALONE.* Washington has this nice little PDF where they explain how they spend the money year over year, too: https://www.tre.wa.gov/portfolio-item/washington-state-marijuana-revenues-and-health/ (It looks like 2021 either was down a bit or didn't match Google's HOT RESULT, but $559 million is either an understatement or not far off. Now...as far as Police unions go, I doubt any of them care in a major Texas city at this point. Here in Travis county it's all but decriminalized, and with its popularity, I imagine carfentanil and cross-border Meth and Cocaine interdiction are more interesting than weed. If we follow the Washington State model where Dispensaries are cash only and thus require armed on-premesis security, that actually creates jobs for off duty officers and private security companies, in addition to Cash Handling jobs on top of retail budtending, and the immense backbone of agricultural jobs to support even a small dispensary. Then if you also factor in the State and Private testing labs that quantify the cannabanoids in each vial, and with every single last batch traceable via bar and qr codes, you're looking at a very sophisticated network of QA that employs many thousands, if not tens of thousands. There's honestly too much money in pot not to legalize it. Houston alone would probably generate a cool Billion with how much the Third Coast smokes. Austin or San Antonio maybe a close second, but my money's on Houston's scene surging big. I have no idea about Dallas, but tbh there's no reason it shouldn't be a massively profitable cash crop. It might even encourage blue-voting entrepreneurs to go buy the land necessary to grow outdoors, and flip the gerrymandering around a little bit that the incumbent GOP have long depended on. You can hew and cry about terrified conservative rural voters, but assuming hicks don't smoke weed is a huge mistake, and we'd both know you are wrong right out of the gate. I posted about Beto O'Rourke's now-campaign promise, and how an existing system works in the State of Washington that might work comparably for businesses in the state of Texas. Obviously I cannot speak for whatever masters you are talking about, and I doubt they exist that's just how I bought weed at World of Weed in Tacoma, and it owned so much that I looked into how Washington did it successfully.

He's got a much better stance on public education, where Abbott is...ahhh...all but burning books. Really excited to see that Tax revenue though.
