 i really cant understand why people enjoy true crime shows, i can appreciate it when the police catch the bad guys and rescue their victims but drat hearing people talk about losing their loved ones, its sad and hosed up. now, i watch a lot of dramatic shows like hannibal and stuff but im able to realize that its fiction and thats fine its just really sad to see these people crying about their dead daughters and stuff. can someone explain it to me somehow?

i like fictional crime stuff and i even like to read about true crime usually its just like seeing these poor girls parents crying and stuff i experience a lot of empathy and it brings me down

 I watch them for the crime scenes, you never get that level of sexy detail on the web without going to some iranian website, and also I watch them for their rushed jokes which always elicit a hardy guffaw. Also the suffering of the families gives a sense of schadenfreude.
