Yes, there is absolutely a good reason to keep pups with their momma until 8 weeks or even beyond, but she got a pitbull puppy adopted with a nice family. In my area, those pibble babies would never have made it as their momma would have been euthanized immediately at the shelter. Lets all enjoy the happy ending for Rocket. I agree. What's done is done. She knows for the future
