Who are other rappers that are underground (if that's the right word???) like EBK Eski and RXKNephew? I haven't listened to rap in forever and those are the two rappers that I've picked out from this thread. I was shocked to see they don't have nearly the numbers that they should be getting and I think it'd be cool to have other people post rappers they like that are on the same "underground" level as them. I don't care about the style at all.

I'm not a huge fan of peggy but he had the instrumentals for Black Ben Carson as its own album on Spotify and I listened to it over and over. I absolutely love his production, but his lyrics are pretty meh from what I've heard (Black Ben Carson/Veteran). Parts of it are him at his best and then other parts are just like "yeah we get it.. You're the naughty word bad influence man". I relistened to Yeezus recently and I was surprised how little I liked it compared to when it came out. I absolutely adored it on release. I still like it but it could've been so much better than it was.

How do I get into Yung Lean? I realized I haven't heard a single song by him, and if I have it was a background song in a random YouTube video. Sweet thanks, I listened out some of those songs. From what I've heard I gather it's best to listen to full projects so you can get into a flow state instead of random individual songs. I'll check out those albums and give a trip report in like a week lol. Does anyone know what happened with David Shawty? I saw some post on Twitter saying "David Shawty haters stay winning" and tried looking into it briefly but couldn't find anything. I wouldn't call myself a fan of his but I liked everything I heard. Sounds like allegations against him or something.

People here are that young?  I listened to some random stuff from both of them and I liked it. But yeah the cult-like fanbase or adoration for them seems like a "you had to have been there". Like trying to get someone in the same mindset as posting on KanyeToThe in 2011 and getting them to listen to Odd Future projects like BlackenedWhite. I couldn't really brainwash myself to get into that same mentality and be a "drainer" lol but I do like them.

I also imagine the reason why I didn't become obsessed with them is because they've influenced so much music I've listened to that the novelty factor isn't there to wow and capture me. Like going back and listening to The Velvet Underground or something lol.

I was about to say "drat he looks good for being in his 50s" but he's only 46?! I'm young so I had no idea he was only... well, I guess 21 isn't crazy young for when Incognegro came out. But I always assumed he was a lot older. Is this when people tell me he's a bad person? Or has nothing come out about him over the years.
