Germany and Argentina will play today for the right to be crowned 2014 World Cup Champions. Germany has won 3 World Cups to Argentina's 2. I have no preference here, if Germany win I'd like Müller to be the hero, and if Argentina win I'd love to see Messi take his place in the pantheon by being the reason. They've had an extra day to prepare, didn't exert themselves much in their semifinal, and have shown little weakness throughout the tournament.  Argentina Played a grueling 0-0 against the Netherlands that went to extra time and penalties, losing an extra day of rest. And their trophy hopes seem to rest on the shoulders of one man who hasn't looked his best as of late. Referees Nicola Rizzoli (ITA) Renato Faverani (ITA) Andrea Stefani (ITA) Carlos Vera (ECU) Betting Odds Germany 13/10 Argentina 13/5 Regardless of what happens, this has been the most memorable World Cup in memory. this entire World Cup has wildly exceeded my highest expectations, the technical skill and pace on display has been at the most insane level and very little of it has disappointed at all. I remember feeling a slight letdown after the second round of quarter final matches and then boom, Germany v Brazil
