Noted bad defender Johan Djourou apparently had an idea for a mobile football game that was cool and good enough to get the app developed; it's going to be called "play2fame" (lol), it'll be endorsed by Wilshere and Iniesta and the profits will go to charity.

Is that a really rare Oyster Perpetual, how much does it cost?

It's not rare, just expensive as gently caress and surprisingly tasteful for a big-dick Rolex, especially considering it's a footballer wearing it. I'd have thought this would be more Song's speed (not racist):

Xhaka has always been a nutter, so the bookings and sendings off don't surprise me, but he's been consistently good to excellence for years at Basel, Gladbach and in the national team. I really didn't expect him to poo poo up the Arsenal team like that but here we are.

big crush on Chad OMG posted:

How has Mbabu done since arriving?

He’s been immense, I love him. I watched him closely yesterday and he was one of the few players who were unfazed by the occasion, so he’s certainly mature beyond his age (just for context: YB have such a knack for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory that people have coined a Swiss German verb from the club’s name to essentially describe „loving up a sure thing and doing so countless times in a row“. Imagine a cross between Schalke, HSV, Arsenal and Napolol and you will have a faint impression of the vale of tears this club has traversed. We last won silverware in 1987. Most fans around me yesterday were excited, but cautious; the most common predictions I heard were either a dreadful goalless draw or a painful 0-1 defeat. So for a young player like Mbabu to go out there and just play his rear end off like crazy, completely unperturbed by the occasion, was impressive as hell).

Anyway, Mbabu loving owns. Attacks like a beast for 90 minutes, is able to win 1v1s, and whenever he doesn’t he‘ll follow up and tackle like a madman, has a mean cross on him, is pacy as hell and just keeps going. His form can be patchy over the course of a season though, and like many modern full backs I’d say he’s better at attacking than defending, but whatever. Oh, and he’s a bit of a hothead too, he shoved an opposition player to the ground yesterday and was lucky to get away with a yellow.
