I'm partway through the Earthbound Halloween romhack and so far I'm enjoying the ramped up difficulty quite a bit.

Regardless of one's opinions on earthbound mother 3 is a wildly better game, and is cool as heck.

Mother 3 was one of the few translated games I played that was totally worth the wait and hype surrounding it.

earthbound is indeed overrated, tho mother 3 is not
