Well, fuck. Really?
Thud.

The sun beat down strongly on the white sands of the beach, while clear azure waters lapped gently against the nearby rocks.

Thud.

The captain shielded his eyes and looked up. In one of the trees on the edge of the beach the foliage rustled.

Thud.

Another heavy green fruit dropped into the sand below the tree and a gangly rigger grinned and waved down to his captain. While they had enough food supplies on board the ship to last well beyond Kirk, there was never any harm in securing some fresh fruit for the crew. Turning his attention further down, he saw the grouping of rowboats that the party had come ashore with. While most of the crew remained on the ship, the captain always liked to get some land beneath his feet before another long journey.

“Good morgen”, called the captain to his quartermaster. “I want all the supplies on the Rig Hval before noon.”

The quartermaster stood near the rowboats and simply nodded. “Most of the timber has been collected, but Magnus found some vines further inland that will replace some of our ropes.”

The captain raised an eyebrow; he had not thought of the need for rope, but then that was the job of his quartermaster. If he did one thing well, it was choosing the best crew for a job. “What about fresh water?”

The quartermaster grimaced. “Not found any yet, captain. Hal and Edvard are looking over on the north side for a stream or something.”

“And Master Einersson?” the captain spoke almost under his breath while staring off at some undefined object. The emphasis on the title was very deliberately given, although most of the crew knew the situation all too well. “He went off with two of his… two of the merchant marines. Don’t know where though…”

The captain was about to make a comment when one of the marines came bursting through the tree-line. He spotted the captain and walked briskly over.

“Master Einersson asked me to fetch you.”

As the captain just stood there impassively, the quartermaster stopped his work and looked about to rebuke the attitude of the marine. “Did he indeed?” asked Captain Sigvald Aldisson finally, holding up his hand to calm his infuriated officer. “Well then, you had better take me to ‘Master’ Einersson.”

------

On a solitary island far west of the Syrne and Thalusai chains lies a unique puzzle: an uninhabited wooded island located to the northern edge of the Midnight Archipelago. It was found in 1645 by a group of Vendel merchants seeking new trade routes in the western oceans. Stopping to gather supplies of timber and fresh water, the crew found evidence of previous visitation. From the imposing feature of a lone ash tree rising above all the other foliage, a path led across the island through a large clearing. In the clearing, the ground showed a circular depression and an overhanging branch had a very old piece of rope securely tied to it.

Believing that they had stumbled on some form of buried treasure, the captain sent to the ship for equipment to dig out the clearing. After digging for just over an hour they hit wood, unfortunately not a treasure chest but rather a wooden platform the shape and size of the former depression. Clearing this away they descended deeper only to find more wooden platforms at fairly regular intervals. After the fourth such platform, and now quite exasperated, the head digger noticed the walls were becoming damp. They had failed to notice that they had passed through a hard clay layer, when suddenly the bottom of the shaft started to fill with water. The water was no real danger but it made downwards progress now impossible without better equipment.

Calling his crew back, the captain reported his findings to the Guild of Explorers once they arrived back at their port of call. Several attempts were made to delve deeper into the island, but resources were limited, and the original rutter was lost. The captain, however, had a copy created, which unfortunately became lost in Avalon. Scholars that had visited and studied the island believe the traps within to be of Syrneth construction, as the engineering is far beyond that of any past culture.

The building, and the treasure rumored to be beneath it, has been credited to the Poor Knights of the Prophet, whose fleet allegedly set sail from Muguet just before the arrest of the order in 1308. The theory goes that the fleet sailed far into the western ocean and the coins of the well are the legendary lost riches of the Knights. Another treasure story relates to the Crescents who were forced to flee Castille following the Second Crusade. Among the missing wealth is the original crown of the Castillus dynasty and valuable Acragan jewels. A less grandiose idea credits the site to Avalon or Vesten privateers who raided the coastal towns of Montaigne and Castille in the ninth and tenth centuries. However, whether a typical pirate crew would be able to build such elaborate traps is open to much debate.

It is these stories and rumors that have brought the crew to this small coastal village, and into the Black Ash tavern. Slightly further away from the docks than most taverns, the clientele is just that bit more refined, and the drinks a tad more expensive. Although they are following a lead, the crew obviously needs rest after their most recent adventure, and drinks are ordered all around, and the talk is quiet and subdued due to the lack of patrons in the early evening.

After several drinks, a gaunt, lanky man approaches the crew, his hand shoved deep into his cloak. He speaks with the team, and reveals that he believes them to be people of means and therefore a potential market for an item he has for sale, that being a battered old leatherbound book with Vesten runes on the cover. Constantly looking around, he explains that he has come into possession of the route to a genuine treasure hoard, but currently does not have the resources to exploit the find and so is looking to sell the book to a group that does. He asks for one thousand guilders in exchange for the supposed rutter, and slinks away when the bartender hollers at him for bothering such good customers with childish fancies. He sits in a table in the corner, biting his lip and throwing glances to your table, watching.

----

Welcome to the 7th Sea! You are a team of privateers, set sale from port unknown, financed by nobles from all around Theah who have been uprooted or are seeking adventure for their own reasons, on board a ship either stolen or purchased by a Vesten pirate captain who is hunting a man who may be his father and has wronged him, while preparing for a duel to the death over an accidental slight. You count amongst you a Thean minister from Castille, and an entertainer who has shunned his family business in pursuit of music. You all have one reason or another to dislike one another, be it your religion, your love interests, or even where you're born, but so far it hasn't come to a head.

Right now, you are all chillin' at a table, interrupted by a man offering to sell you what he claims to be a map to a treasure trove. Since you are here on stories of such a map, you are welcome to react as you please. Go ahead and interact with each other and introduce yourselves (though you've known each other for at least a month,) and then let's get this story rolling!

Get in the mood with this song!

XP CHART: You all have currently earned 0 XP

XP CHART

Jan - 0 XP

Clavo - 0 XP

Pierre - 0 XP

Elaine - 0 XP

Cal - 0 XP

Vincenzo - 0 XP

Victor - 0 XP

Brandt - 0 XP

Here's what you can do with XP:

1. Buy skills. This costs 10 XP, and will require you finding someone to teach you; another crew memeber will work. Note, that while getting skills with crossing knacks at character creation will raise that those knacks by 1, it does not work that way with learning skills. So say you have Footwork from Athletics, and take Pugilism. At character creation, Footwork would be at 2; now, it'd stay at 1.

2. Buy a background. These costs 3, 6, or 9 XP, depending on how many points you want in it, which determines how important it is to your character. You can only have as many backgrounds as you have panache.

3. Raise a Knack. This costs twice as many XP as the new rank you wish to take it to. It costs 2 XP to go from 0 in a knack to 1, and 4 to go from 1 to 2. Just look at the new rank and double it. There is no extra cost for advanced knacks, unlike character creation.

4. Raise a Trait. This costs FIVE TIMES as many XP as the rank you want to get it to. Going from 0 to 1 is 5 XP, and going from 1 to 2 is 10 XP.

5. Join a Swordsman's School. I will dictate how much this costs, depending on the school and availability of a teacher. The book suggests 50 XP but goddamn that's a wacky number.

"Listen to dhat man. He walks into a bar and tries to sell us a treasure map for a small fortune. It is like he dhink we are drunk or someding."

Brandt lazes back in his seat, shirt off and feet propped up on the table. The large stack of empty mugs sitting on front of him, making a rather impressive pyramid, might explain why anyone would make the assumption of "drunk and wealthy". His gigantic build mark him as a man of Vesternmannavnjar, and his accent proves him to be of the Stjernasfolk, a clan famous for producing sailors, pirates and raiders.

"You are drunk. Or at least, you'd have to be to just lounge around without a shirt and think that's acceptable in these times." Jan tunes his accordion, playing a few notes while his mind is distracted by the offer. A real treasure map, how lucky could they be? Of course, there was the matter of the exorbitant price, but maybe if they pooled their money together?

"So, about that map. Should we try to convince the man it isn't worth as much as he thinks it is? He seems very twitchy and eager for someone to buy it, and we are his best hope it looks like. Should be fairly easy, unless you all just hate adventure or something. I mean, this is the reason we've put up with each-I mean, we decided to band together until now, correct?"

Whoops. Got my players confused; I've been studying so much I forgot that it's Lazy Bear's character that owns the ship, so he's technically captain and FireSight is either the first mate or bosun.

Also, you're all officers aboard this ship; there's an NPC crew that does a lot of the menial labor, unless you specifically want to get involved.

Actual Captain Vincenzo - Sheet here.

Quietly swirling a glass of red wine in the clean goblet he'd made sure the barkeep drat-well cleaned properly, the Vodacce man at the table sighs. It'd been a long night, and someone finally approaches the crew, only for the would-be seller to be probably the single most suspicious man in the room. And they were pirates! The Vendel man raised a good point, despite Vincenzo's severe dislike of Vendel men in general. Well, this one wasn't a tradesman or merchant at least. "Mister Svensson, you have the floor." he conceded to the musician. "If I am going to venture our capital on a dubious investment such as this, I would rather venture as little as possible. I leave this to your hands."

Victor watches them all for a bit as he drinks his own wine before speaking, in deeply accented Avalon, "We are having a hard time making decision? We are here for maps, yes? This man... he has map? How expensive did you say this map was? 1000 guilders?" He makes a slight noise and mutters, "Is very expensive. I am having at most 200 guilders for this. But still... is much money to spend on a fantasy. I happily buy the ship silk sails because it is a thing I can see and it is useful. This map... it is not substance." He shrugs finally and downs his wine in one swill, "But, you know..." He adjusts the ornamental sling that holds his massive sword on his back. Every inch of the thing that's not sharpened blade is etched with intricate designs and polished to an almost supernatural shine. "I am just swordsman... what do I know about treasure maps?"

Garbed in Vaticine red, Padre Clavo glared out over his pointed beard and through the wreath of smoke from the cigarillo of pungent Kanu tobacco he was smoking. He had signed on with this crew out of desperation, based on word that men whom he would rather not see again, men who thought him dead, had been sighted in town. However, rather than putting out to sea as he had hoped, he had been landlocked under orders to follow up on reports of some sort of map to some exotic treasure.

A map to great some exotic treasure. In a port town. Padre Clavo and his compatriots hadn't exactly been bored following one lead after another. However, he remained in town when at this moment, at every moment through the last month, the best place for him would be out to sea, away from people who had known the poor, cursed man known as Orlando.

"This poor soul," he said in even, measured tones, "is alone, not as we all are in this fallen world, but alone in truth, without friend or family to protect him. One must question his wisdom to be speaking of such a sum in such a place for such a," and here he coughed, "treasure. He invites Legion's calamity with such loose talk. Surely, as pious folk, we must intercede on his behalf and remove this map from him, in order to make him safe."

He took a drink from the clay bottle of sweet rum he favoured. One tattooed hand rested on his sword. "While he might disagree with our interpretation of theology, we would be extending Theus' charity to him. Surely he would come to see that, once unburdened of his cares."

Jan abruptly stops messing around with his Accordion and stares blankly at Clavo. "...perhaps we should hold off on robbing him in the name of the Lord until we run out of options?" Seriously, this was the weirdest priest ever. Also much better company than most priests, so it evened out in the end. "Anyways, with the Captain's permission, I will play a song so beautiful that he will graciously give it to us in exchange, or at least lower the price." Somehow, Jan actually believes this.

Walking over to the twitchy man, Jan introduces himself with a bow. "My compatriots and I are interested in this map of yours, but you must already know that no one would pay a thousand gold for it. But I detest the long, drawn-out process of haggling, so I will convince you to lower your price the only way I know how." Ignoring any protests that man may offer or any confused looks, Jan Svennson begins to play a song that he has heard is becoming quite popular these days in Castille or somewhere else. He's not a geographer, he's a musician. Again showing no modesty, he jumps onto the table part way through the song, making sure everyone can see him.

Rolling Musician (Accordion) 3 with my Panache 3. So that's 6k3. Don't actually know how to roll that in Orokos, so here's 6d10. Highest three dice are a 10, 9, and 7, so my total is 26. No, I don't actually think this will do much of anything, except put on a show for anyone else in the room.

Edit: Forgot 10's explode, so here's the extra roll, a 6. Total is now 32.

Elaine

Elaine laughs merrily as Jan starts playing, and follows the two vesten vendel over to the probable conman's table in the corner, half-finished drink in hand. "Hello friend." She smiles at the man. "Now, perhaps it's the wine making things sound better than they are, but why don't you tell us more about where you got this treasure map? It sounds like the chance of a lifetime, but a thousand guilders is a lot of money. Surely there's a story you can tell to convince us." This ought to be good. Lowlifes scamming drunks in taverns with tales of treasure maps always had the best stories made up. And, on the off chance that it really was the map they were after, the sisterhood would want to know who was peddling maps to syrneth ruins and not making it up in hopes of scamming an upstart explorer.

Sorry for assuming the best about people firesight.

"...for you, it is all over...!"
Padre Clavo

Clavo blew out a wreath of blue smoke in response to Jan's admonitions against his proposed robbery. "I merely wish to show our skittish friend the error of his ways in order to aid him in walking a godly path in the future, rather than encouraging him in self destruction." His words fell on deaf ears, however, as the Vendel rose and began playing a song for the gaunt man, presumably in exchange for the map.

"Ah. Of course. I hadn't realized that our company had such negotiation skills available to it," he said, to no one in particular.

When the Eisen warrior clapped him on the back, he coughed smoke briefly and drank yet more rum to soothe his throat.

"I fear that as a man of the cloth, I'm not used to such vigorous displays of camaraderie, my friend," he said to Everhart. He was to say more when he spied the Montaignais fop returning to the table. His countenance darkening, Clavo stood and made his way to bar, taking his bottle of rum and leaned against the bar.

"Is this a man familiar to you, my friend?" he asked the bartender casually, with the intent of getting some sense of who he and his group were dealing with.

It was a classic move. People loved talking to priests.

Victor crosses his arms and takes his seat again as the song continues. He leans towards Vincenzo and speaks, his voice a bit clearer, "While this show is fine, I doubt it will change the asking price of the map. I don't want to go about stealing things but... well, we are privateers now..." He grins a bit and says, "Whatever we decide on, I will back our actions. It's not like we'll still be in port when the gauntlet falls anyhow."

He just looking to make fast profit on drunk sailors. Is like dey never been in a port tavern before." Taking another swig from yet another mug of ale, Brandt gives his captain a 'look'. Vincenzo quietly strokes his chin, taking in everything that's happening. "Well, there are a few ways we can go about things from here." he says. "But I do want to see how Mister Svensson's attempts play out. If he is unsuccessful, my first instinct is to split the payments. A small up-front investment for now followed by payment in full when we return with the spoils. Typical fare for a venture such as this. Seeing as we are providing all of the equipment and manpower, a twenty-percent opening would be typical for most mercantile transactions." A small pause. "If that doesn't work, we will... Improvise." The next sentence is muttered in a low tone, drowned out by the music for all not at the table. "I would prefer to keep our illicit activities to places beyond the reach of the constabulary where possible."

Well, fuck. Really?
Woodstock 1660
Jan's sudden accordion solo seems to startle the thin man in the long coat, and he looks frantically around the fortunately empty room; he seems like he doesn't want attention drawn to him, and with both Jan playing an accordion while standing on his table and Diana spinning on the ground like a drunken idiot, the few people in the tavern other than the officers certainly are watching the spectacle. The man behind the bar laughs and shakes his head, and the conversation of the officers back at their table and Elaine's words to the man are lost in the music; the Padre sidles up to the bar, trying to make nice with the staff.

The bartender looks up from the glass he's cleaning, his bald head shining in the lantern light. "Can't say he is, cap. No regular of mine, at least." He looks over to the rutter salesman, who is currently trying to shrink into the wall itself as Jan hops from foot to foot, truly getting into the song, and tries not to grin. "But if he's that scared of being noticed I'd wager it's not something he wants to hang on to for very long. Reckon it's stolen."

Once the song is over and Jan is off of his table, the man runs a hand through his hair, groaning. "Look, it's real, I swear to ye. Look!" He digs the book out of his coat and holds it out to where Jan and Diana can see it; both recognize the Vesten runes on the cover, and when he flips it open, they see the neat handwriting of the Vendel language in it. Diana recognizes actual coordinates and other navigational notes, but the man snaps the book shut before she can get too close of a look. "Y'see? Fine, thousand guilders is too much, I hear ya. Five hundred."

Cal looks up and raises an eyebrow as the man speaks, "You're gonna cut the price in half just like that? Either that book is actually worthless, or it's worth too much for you to hold onto. Which says bad news to me. Which is it fella?"

I wasn't saying oratory would be a direct win against him, it's just what I did when Dyne last threw this rutter at me in another 7th sea game. That game went slightly differently than this one already has so I wouldn't put much stock in it being the "correct" way.

Satisfied with his no-doubt amazing performance, Jan bows to the crowd, such as it is. Cal's further interrogation of the twitchy man however brings Jan back to his senses. "Don't worry too much, Cal! It's written in Vendel, you can trust it. Now let's just pay him the five hundred gold before one of our compatriots gets impatient and takes matters into his own hands." Jan intentionally drops a hint about their back-up plan to just rob the man without actually saying as much. After all, maybe it would convince the man to drop his price even lower just to avoid such a fate.

With a sigh the Eisen noble-warrior looks between the two he's been talking with and speaks, a devilish grin appearing on his face as he does so, "So, 500 is better than 1000 and, frankly, less than I thought we'd get him to without resorting to extortion. I'd be willing to put down 100 to 200 guilders as long as my... share... in the loot correctly represented my share in this purchase." He reaches into his pack and draws forth a pouch... well, more of a sack he doesn't open it but he sets it heavily down on the table, the thunk it makes shows it contains a very large amount of coinage.

Well, fuck. Really?
The man seems to grow more and more nervous as his table is approached, and with the threat of possible violence, he throws a glance towards the bartender, who is now watching very intently and reaching under the bar, likely to grab a weapon. The man in the coat groans and throws the rutter onto the table, standing up so quickly his chair tips back against the wall. "Fine! Just take it! I don't care! Just take the damned book!" He shoves past Jan and Diana, looking back over his shoulder to make sure he isn't followed. He heads up the stairs to his lodgings above, and a moment passes before there is a thunderous slam of a door and the loud click of a lock.

On the table now sits a rutter; Jan and Diana recognize the runes on the front as the language of the Vesten. Unfortunately, neither of the two Vendel are literate in the language of their cousins, and so the title page conveys nothing to them. Elaine picks up the book, flipping through the pages; the book has been written in a multitude of languages, with notes in every language on Theah except for the Eastern languages. In the few bits of Avalonian she skims through, she sees mention of the Midnight Archipelagoes, as well as a crew of the Rose and Cross' Poor Knights. However, with the language changing almost every page, it is hard to get a feel for the story being told in the book, and before long the book devolves into nothing but navigational instructions that mean little to the woman, though even these directions change in penmanship and language; it seems whoever was writing the book was doing it in shifts.

At the bar, the bartender keeps his hand under the bar, his eyes narrowed at the group still by the man's table. He speaks without looking to the priest, his voice low. "Forgive me, Padre, but I don't think your friends are the sort you should be hanging around with, especially seeing as you're a Castillian in Montaigne. I don't think the Musketeers would treat you kindly at the moment.."

Congratulations, you have intimidated the man into giving up his rutter. You can now skim it, and we'll assume people have headed to bed before too long and continue when it's morning.

May Theus guide and guard you, and I pray that his fortune shines upon such an honest man and his business," he says. To augment his theology, he tips generously, and then goes to assemble his erstwhile flock.

"My friends," he says, quietly addressing his disparate crew, "It appears that it would be prudent for us to make our way from this place, having achieved our objective, and retire to another more private. My friend the landlord advised me as such, and I recognize his wisdom in this instance."

Getting to his feet slowly, Brandt looks down at his tower of mugs and then over to the raucous nobles. "How is it, that a drunken raider sits in the bar with a bunch of nobles and a priest, and it's the nobles who get kicked out?" Shaking his head over the absurd nature of the universe, or possibly over the behavior of the slumming nobility, the muscular giant kneels down to retrieve his swords from under the table and makes his way to the door.

"Will the rest of you be requiring additional escort tonight? I should probably check on the ships watch if nobody else needs my presence." His voice is almost polite as he speaks to the nobles, except for the little bit of sarcasm that seeps in at the end.

You guys aren't getting kicked out. The Padre is a Castillian in Montaigne, which is already a dangerous thing, and the bartender is warning him about the attention you guys could draw to him. Right now Clavo is in the sort of situation where the Musketeers won't outright arrest him for just being Castillian, but they sure would like an excuse, and wouldn't need much of one.

You still have your rooms in the tavern if you want them, but can leave for another inn/tavern if you care to.

The Captain sighs quietly. And he was just getting comfortable... But still, they had what they wanted, and they hadn't attraced any undue attention, so perhaps now would be a good time to re-locate. He places enough Senators on the table for his and his crew members' drinks, and rises. "Michelangelo, I believe our time here is at an end. Shall we find somewhere more amenable to our preferences to sleep?" He invites his valet, a small, very unobtrusive man, to come with him. It might be worth looking at a cathouse, if the women look clean. Of course, this being Montaigne, that's a big if.

Well, fuck. Really?
With the moon sitting high in the sky, the officers of the Jolly Rake split up and go their separate ways in finding room and board for the night. The bartender stands in the doorway, watching them for a moment, glancing back as the stairs creak under Elaine as she ascends to her room. The streets are starting to get busy as sailors who slept the day away with their drunkenness come out to carouse and celebrate once more, and after watching the odd group head into their own taverns and board their own ship, the bartender shakes his head and throws his door wide open, heading back to his bar.

From the Taverns
Elaine climbs down the stairs as the morning sunlight fill the common room of the tavern. The bartender has long since gone to sleep, and a matronly lady stands behind the bar, giving the Avalonian girl the evil eye. Pierre is moments behind her, and gets a much more appreciative smile from the woman behind the bar. Diana, meanwhile, is still snoring away at one of the tables, several empty bottles littering the ground around her feet. After assuring that all debts are settled, Elaine steps out of the bar with Pierre and a grouchy Diana, the rutter in hand, and they see a few of the others approaching from down the road. The officers meet up, seeing that Cal, Clavo, and Brandt are still missing and likely back aboard the ship. Heading down the streets, they realize that there is a commotion up near the docks.

As they round the bend to the docks, they see that the Jolly Rake is currently being swarmed by men that Pierre recognizes as musketeers. Cal, Brandt, and Clavo stand on the pier, surrounded by the men and arguing with them. The bartender from the night before stands amongst the musketeers, and when he turns, he spots the small group of officers and turns to the musketeers, shaking one by the shoulder and pointing in their direction. From the boat comes a well put together man with silver hair, walking down the gangplank towards their friends.

The Dock, 30 minutes prior
Padre Clavo is the first to be awoken by the musketeers, as his door is kicked open and three of the Montaigne royal guard, the Musketeers, file into his room, their muskets raised. Across the ship, he hears the tramping of feet and cries of surprise and anger as the rest of the crew, including Brandt and Cal, are dragged out of their beds and taken out on deck. Clavo looks up, seeing that the scout in the crow's nest is missing, and after a moment spies him sitting cross-legged on the pier by one of the Musketeers, his arms shackled behind his back. Looks like the lookout was caught.

The priest is shoved forward and almost runs directly into the back of Cal, before he is caught by Brandt. Before them stands an older looking Montaigne man with a neatly waxed mustache and well trimmed beard, his hair tucked neatly under his cap. He wears the standard of a captain, and narrows his eyes as he looks Clavo over. "I am Captain Jacques du Muguet, of the Royal Musketeer Corps. You are under arrest for the murder of Michel du Crieux, and are to come with me for questioning. Do not resist, and you will be treated well. Make trouble for me.." The captain trails off, but his eyes speak volumes of what may happen if the three resist too heavily. He turns to one of his men and snaps his fingers, pointing towards the padre's bunk. "Search the Castillian's bunk. The book must be in there somewhere. Take these men off this boat, and impound the vessel."

With little ceremony, the three officer are dragged from the boat, surrounded three to one by rifle wielding guardsmen, but fortunately not shackled. After some time arguing with the guards, Cal notices the bartender from last night standing nearby, his arms crossed across his chest. He watches the man turn and grow excited, and follows his gaze; he sees the rest of the crew on the street, and apparently, so did the bartender.

As he points towards the other officers, Captain du Muguet comes down the gangplank, his hands tucked behind his back. "Keep searching the boat. Where are the others from last night, Monsieur Ma-" He cuts himself off mid-sentence, his eyebrows raising in surprise as he sees the rest of the crew themselves. "Ah. Good. Twelve of you, come with me. You three.." He points to Cal and the others. "You come as well." Giving the three a slight prod to start marching, Jacques and his men make their way up the road towards Elaine and the others.

You all have a little time to react before the musketeers reach you; you are all armed, even those of you who were on the boat. Right now, only Cal, Brandt, and Clavo have any idea of what's going on; the rest of you just see the boat being searched and your crew and fellow officers being arrested, and now a pompous looking twit is headed your way with twelve men and your buddies.
