I would totally be down for a Yakuza type game where you play a wrestler. One of the mini games would be the wrestling match and the rest of the game would be dealing with regular life/the politics of wrestling. Wrestlers real lives are wacky enough that you could do a ton of fun mini games like in the Yakuza series.

I'll never forget being an early 20 something year old and coming across the Mdickie wrestling game and being freaked out and really surprised when one of my wrestlers lost an arm during a match. I'm always willing to pay and give his games a chance. Except that Jesus one.

I had a friend who's dad stole a Wrestlefest arcade cabinet from an arcade and kept it in their living room. He broke open the coin slot and you could give yourself a million credits by pushing down this little pin that would be hit when a coin slid through the slot. We played that game all the time. I love that you could have like 4 people pin one dude.

And I don't think it's the whole game industry. I think it's 2k and sports developers in general. I'd love to see what a company like Capcom, or Sucker Punch or Rockstar or Insomniac could do with it. The fact that sports games have gotten monopolized is the exact reason they became unfun. When I was young I would buy football, basketball and hockey games and I don't even like sports. But it didn't matter because they were fun. Those days are over.

Yeah if the AEW game was as bare as WCW Revenge but played as fun as that did I'd be happy. In my perfect world it's closer to HCTP or No Mercy because I loved their branching story paths.

Wow that is really impressive. Those are the mannerisms and facial expressions down to a T. God I would love for someone to have a modern version of Doink's heel character. I remember Foley talking about his psychology - he wouldn't do moves to beat his opponent he'd do them to hurt him. So his moveset was centered around pain levels not knock out levels. It's really cool

I still do that with all the fallout games. Especially when I get a new rig. I spend a couple days adding every single mod to New Vegas, getting it to work and then play it for like 40 minutes

Intergender matches, cool mini games. Graphics looked good. Animations didn't look as stiff. Yup this is a day 1 buy for me.

My favorite stuff from the older games was when they started doing branching storylines depending on if you won or lost. I think No Mercy was the first one to do it. My favorite version was Here Comes the Pain and Shut Your Mouth.
