man NES came out around the same time and it only had 2k. 512k makes it seem like a monster for it's time, but there was other stuff out there maybe on the less common side that had more memory for a personal comp

orange on lblue will never look good. both the "intuition" ui and its api were terrible. varargs everywhere, way to go in figuring out a way to make c even less safe!

and encouraging devs to write to the hardware was just amazingly dumb even for 1985, no matter how awesome a game you could write

this owned. new amigos should have just had all of the old chips in addition to te new ones

Amiga was a good compy to grow up on. no use saying they're a good compute tho. was jealous of some parts of pc when I grew up but mostly I was fuckon around on tracking music programs and a really old 3d render as swapping disks like fuckin mad

I seriously believe the greatest failing of Amiga was not having a pc compatible high density floppy drive .
