Jagdpanzer is just a generic term for a tank destroyer, while the Jagdpanther is a Jagdpanzer that was built on the chassis of the Panther tank. There was also a Jagdtiger. I've never heard it called anything but a Hetzer. But I don't really do Historicals so maybe in that community it's more common?
