Mom came into the room and said daddy was moving out. I was 4 years old. In his place, she said, I would be getting a nintendo as my new father. Mario seemed pretty fatherly to me, at the time. Smashing loving BLOCKS and just making GBS threads on mutants was hella loving cool. In no time I was gallivanting around the neighborhood breaking my child-fists on old brick buildings, diving down sewer drains looking for lost coins. Man, it was the BEST.

i was ~3 and I remember my dad showing me how to start some dumb spelling game with a bee and flowers, and also we had a big stack of big blue disks that I guess came with some magazine which were full of random '80s shareware like the epic trials of Alfredo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=962GEtBHH7g I had a post-it note by the computer to remind me how to do these things from the DOS prompt

my parents bought me an acorn electron (pre commodore C64 computing) with a load of games on it but at the time i had been watching a shitton of macguyver. i took the power block, plugged it into some silly putty emulating my hero macguyver and got it stuck inside. then i broke the connector trying to get the putty out with a pencil. i never told them because i was so scared

Since the fox likes to jump up and potentially escape from the blue, adding these spikes so the fox jumps up into them (ouch) helps Tails remain in the blue to drown. I used to sit and watch my dad play doom 3d like all the time, but my first real memory might be beating kq6. We weren't allowed to have consoles because my father was a firm believer in PC master race gaming.

My first experience with a video game is Atari. I can remember playing that tank game where you can bounce shots around corners. My first video game that I ever completed was Dragon Warrior for the NES. That game took forever to beat but it was awesome.
