Which colours of leather case supposedly age badly? I have the black one and I love it but I was thinking of grabbing another colour to have some variation. I quite like the look of the red or white ones.

Compressed air or a cotton swab in there should get whatever is causing it out. If not... it's possible for water damage to do that apparently.

I had this happen too fyi

Did they really get rid of 'Group By App' for notification centre in iOS 10? It's so annoying that you can't clear all the notifications from a specific app now

I switched using bluetooth settings and it said it was connected but would never play any audio when I tried. Little tip if you're gonna be switching between Mac and iPhone a lot. There's a utility called ToothFairy in the Mac App Store that lets you connect to specific Bluetooth headphones with a single click

Housh posted:Yeah that's what I was kinda expecting from the product and Apple for pushing wireless. A quick toggle between my phone and Mac. I thought that was the point of the special chip. I believe originally when Apple sent out review units it had more seamless switching between Apple devices but they took it out before launch. Maybe something that'll get introduced with a revised model in September.

Boris Galerkin posted:How is this different from showing the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar and clicking on it and clicking on the headphones you want to connect to? I just like the ease of use of a one click item that fills up once I'm paired and ready. You can also set up multiple BT devices separately so one click quickly switches to my BT speakers. The devices don't have to be ready for pairing yet like they would to show up in that menu. I can click that then take the AirPods out or turn the speaker on and it'll keep trying to aggressively pair to them for a little while

Teabag Dome Scandal posted:My biggest complaint is sometimes apps that open webpages internally don't appear to be using ad blocking because uh I get ads but that might be the app not allowing it instead of iOS not allowing it. Yeah if an app doesn't use in-app Safari (I believe they don't because they can get more analytics and stuff using their own browser) then no iOS ad-blocker is going to work. I believe you can block ads at router level but that's a whole other thing. I use 1Blocker X myself but Wipr is also good
