My 6 has a weird discolored spot on the screen in a line where I typically swipe to scroll web pages. It doesn't bother me much but I've never had one do that before

My iPhone 6 seems to make a very quiet buzzing noise when I scroll or make long touches to the screen. The screen has a dark spot/line that is about 1/3 of the length of the screen so I think something is obviously wrong with it. The buzzing is new though. I also have the off center front camera. I am out of warranty so I assume it is pretty unlikely to get this fixed by Apple?

I deleted a bunch of un-needed photos from Photos on my Mac recently - about 9,000 of them. Now every time I plug my phone in it shows that there are 9.000ish photos available to import, so evidently those photos are still living on my phone somewhere. They don't show up in Recently Deleted, though. Is there any way to fix that?

I decided to try out "Mojo Installer" which is a jailbreak alternative, to install an emulator so I could play some old games. It is installed using the "date trick" to set up the app through an expired certificate. I think it hosed something on my phone though- my phone is HOT all the time and Omnistat shows both processors pegged at 100%. I removed the profiles that I set up for Mojo and removed its app and this continued. I did a backup and restore and it still seems to be doing the same thing. Would my next bet be to just set up as a new phone? Im going to give it a day to see if it stops. I have been in an area with lovely cell coverage and lovely wifi so maybe that was part of it?

I might, I usually just backup to iCloud. It wasn't an actual jailbreak though, just an app install. It seems to be OK this morning- looks like Photos was uploading some photos to iCloud which I guess was the issue.

For some reason Siri has decided that I am both my own mom and dad. I've deleted the relationships from their contacts and recreated them, but if I say "call my dad" it asks which phone number for my name to call. Weird

I have about 18,000 photos that are stored locally on my phone that I would like to wipe out. I have turned off iCloud photo library and Photo Stream, and the photos are still on my phone. I have tried going through and selecting them to delete them but they will not delete - the delete dialog box pops up and I confirm to delete them, but they don't actually delete. Any ideas wtf I should do? This is taking up a large amount of space on my phone and I think it's due to an iCloud glitch.

While we are on the subject of the upgrade plan, I am NOT on it but want to be. Is there a way to do that with preordering the phone whenever they go on sale or am I gonna have to wait till they can be found in stores?

Well you guys convinced me and I bought a saddle brown case for my 7+. Phone hasn't shipped yet but with my kid being delivered Monday I figured I wouldn't get out to the Apple Store any time soon. Man that is some nice looking leather. It really looks like it is a different leather from the other cases.

I just switched cable providers and I can't figure out how to log out of the old one and sign in on the new one in the new TV app. Or do I still have to do it in every app individually? We are on directv now so we should be able to do single sign on.

I bought some Solo3's in flat black at Best Buy on Saturday and with Amazon price match they were $159 plus tax. They sound better than my old Studio wired Beats and the W1 features are cool. I also have some Powerbeats 2 that I got at an overstock store for $50 which I like quite a bit. I am neither a gangsta or thug.

I was really hoping for standalone CarPlay when they started talking about it. I.e. The phone just turns in to CarPlay mode when I am in the car. But the do not disturb thing works pretty well as a concept

I went ahead and ordered the AirPods. Is the fit exactly the same as the EarPods? I had an old pair that I cut the cords off of and walked around for a while with them in and they were fine.

I feel like all of the constant rumors, leaks, and speculation have almost completely killed my interest in the iPhone 8. I'm sick of hearing about it at this point. I have a 7+ now and I'm on the upgrade program so I'm sure I will end up getting one anyway because new shiny, but I'm more ready for everyone to just shut up about it.
