I don’t get reception- and would hate to know what the roaming fees are. That being said it’s a far more regular problem on the tube.

I'm probably an edge case; live in Japan, only use it when I'm returning here or on domestic flights. No roaming fees.

Question Mark Mound posted:

Can anyone recommend a good app with a bunch of nice looking pre-set photo filters that do non-destructive changes rather than saving a whole new file? I really don't like any of the stock filters ever since they got changed a few years ago.

VSCO can save changes in-app only as an option (not sure if that's what you're looking for). They have the best filters out there IMO. For better or worse they changed to a subscription model however. The base app is free so you can try it at least.

Pretty sure the answer to this is “no”, but I’ll ask anyways:

I live in a country without the infrastructure to cash checks. No longer have an American bank account. Sitting on this $1,200 stimulus check. The only way I can think of to get the funds is to use the PayPal app to electronically cash it.

I used a VPN to actually enable the app to start the process. However it uses an in-app camera, which requires location services enabled, to verify your location. Then immediately sends the data to PayPal. My condo has a convoluted in-house internet provider that messes with my DNS settings and I’m not smart enough to figure out how to set up a router-level (Apple) VPN.

Ideas?

I tend to do it for the same reason people (like myself) keep a bunch of browser tabs open; ease of reaching apps being used at the time.

I’m taking a ton of pictures and want each one to have a Brightness +10 and Color Saturation +25.

Is there an app or a way in Photos to just make this a setting? Going in there one-by-one is a full-time job.

Get a wizard to cast “enchant any item” on your camera.

My first thought as well. I rolled and failed.

Depends how many a ton of photos really is..

You’d still have to go into each one (so there might still be a better solution) but there is a “Copy Edits” option in the 3-dot menu once you’re in the editing UI. Once they’re copied you don’t have to go into edit mode, you can just paste the edits from the main 3-dot menu on the photo.

Edit: actually once they’re copied you can apply it to a multi-select from the grid view which is far quicker.

Fantastic! Thank you so much.
